smartcookieMember
Well, that’s up to u, my dear Popa 🙂
smartcookieMemberSleep? Eh! What’s that?
I’m planning to catch up on my sleep after 120…. But until then, it’s a lost case.
smartcookieMemberHumpty Dumpty went to the mall
But Humpty Dumpty was too plump and not tall
All the saleswoman and all the salesmen
Couldn’t fit Humpty less than size 10 🙁
smartcookieMemberI’m not a guy, but I’ll take the compliment 😉
smartcookieMemberAre u absolutely sure that I’m not Wolf? Or Poppa? Or Zeeskite?
smartcookieMemberOnce I had a liquor bar
And business was so bad
We got obama to help up through
And this is what he said:
Take a man on election day
And “change” is at your door
We took the catch
But he was no match
And yet, no more liquor bar….
smartcookieMemberAries, your story reminds me of a relative who was also becoming so desperate and helpless. When the big day finally happened, she got engaged to a fresh, very young boy, straight out of Yeshiva!
she simply had to wait for him to grow up (unknowingly)!
smartcookieMemberGut voch to all, did I see right?
I don’t believe Pepper’s back in sight
Someone is just trying to Cheppper
And duplicated the screenname Pepper
Your authenticity is not quite.
smartcookieMemberEclipse, as we already discussed once, I was your student… I remember you with a band on your sheitel 😉
I also still have my autobiography tucked away somewhere….
I’m really laughing now 😀
smartcookieMemberWhenever I see posts from Mod 80, BPT, Wolf, I rush to read them!
I also enjoy Poppas humor, Mbachur, Daas Yochid.
There are more but I can’t remember at the moment.
smartcookieMemberUhu! Except if you know each other and feel safe enough to take/give the hitch.
smartcookieMemberS2021- you did right. Giving/taking a hitch is NEVER ok. No matter to whom.
If that boy would need a ride desperately, he couldve taken a car service.
smartcookieMemberI’m in the CR for years and never had an addiction problem. When I’m busy I just don’t check in!
Sometimes I can get carried away a bit, but usually not.
Not that hard to tear myself away!
smartcookieMemberI agree with RB. This is something that the mother knows about and she’s playing ignorant. If she doesn’t care, then we will not fix her!
But no, you are not crazy and you didn’t do anything wrong. You took a 2% chance thatit might help.
smartcookieMemberYou probably have a typical look.
My husband has a typical look and in the beginning, I thought every person from far looked like him!
smartcookieMemberTo the OP:
A morgage on BP apt will cost you more than $2000 monthly.
Rent for a 3 bedroom will cost about $2000.
Either way is insane. We gotta get outta here!
smartcookieMemberOk. I’m zonked.
March 30, 2011 9:33 pm at 9:33 pm in reply to: when are you planning to change over your kitchen for Pesach? #753975smartcookieMemberWow sunday is early. I’ll probably Kasher on Tuesday and cook wednesday and on!
smartcookieMemberI have a collection of dust in my home which I’m trying to get rid of, unsuccessfully.
If anyone wants some, I love to share! 😉
smartcookieMemberIt is very common. Most pediatricians will tell you that it will go away on its own and it’s ok (as long as it doesn’t turn blue or purple).
If it doesn’t go away by a certain age, then they might operate.
smartcookieMemberChareidim in BP.
Montreal bakery.
smartcookieMemberPesach is definitely a gluten-sufferer’s delight.
I’m not so sure. With the Matzah and potatoes you can’t get worse.
smartcookieMemberApologies? Neh! We were just explaining!
smartcookieMemberObservant- I luv your poems! The others are great too!
Eclipse- LOL! Your coffee poem is adorable but too short!
smartcookieMemberI second deyezooger.
WOLF- that post was in response to yours. We Davka eat gebrokts the last day.
Go explain all our Minhagim to someone who’s not a Chassid!! 🙂
smartcookieMemberCherry- if you HONESTLY believe its a shtus, then WHY don’t you eat gebrokts?
smartcookieMemberKen zayn- we can only be Machmir the most we CAN. We cannot set up our own Matzah Bakery. We therefore, only use from the strictest bakeries, and we choose them carefully.
Same with wine.
But whatever we can make alone without turning over the world, we try to do.
smartcookieMemberKedem light jc.
(Or water it down by yourself!)
You can make your own grp jc by squeezing good grapes and filtering the seeds and other dirt.
Many people do this for Pesach.
smartcookieMemberAnyone here not use store bought potato starch Pesach?
smartcookieMemberPlease don’t mind the spelling on those jokes. I just copied and pasted them without editing.
smartcookieMemberRavis- although actual gebrokts is with water, many people keep the matzah away from anything wet,(even eggs etc) as an extra Chashash Chometz.
Cantoresq- since we don’t use kneidlach- we fry a bunch of egg crepes(dozens and dozens).
We then cut each crepe into small pieces and add some to each plate of soup- like lukshen!
smartcookieMemberWisdom teeth?
Earache?
smartcookieMember‘Barrack Obama was out jogging one morning along the parkway when he tripped, fell over the bridge railing and landed in the creek below .
Before the Secret Service guys could get to him, 3 kids who were fishing pulled him out of the water.
He was so grateful he offered the kids whatever they wanted. The first kid said, ‘I want to go to Disney World & Barrack said, ‘No problem, I’ll take you there on Air Force One.
‘The second kid said, ‘I want a new pair of Nike Air Jordan shoes. Barrack said, ‘I’ll get them for you and even have Michael Jordan sign them.
‘The third kid said, ‘ I want a motorized wheelchair with a built in TV and stereo headset.’
The kid said, ‘I will be after my dad finds out I saved you from drowning.
smartcookieMemberDear Mother-in-Law, Please don’t try to tell me how to raise my kids! I’m married to one of yours and believe me,there’s much room for improvement!LOL
smartcookieMemberI hate statistics. I don’t believe any of it.
smartcookieMemberParben- discussing abusive hubs is not Yeshivish?
Maybe the jokes thread is more fun, but nothing inappropriate about the former.
You’re not the newest Joseph, are ya?
smartcookieMemberLol what compassion!
We don’t eat gebrocht and it aint that bad!
Chicken potatoes eggs chicken potaoes eggs chicken potatoes eggs… Times 100 🙂
smartcookieMemberI’m not getting it. Can you be more specific? I haven’t found a website that’s more Kosher than this one.
We can’t ONLY discuss Shidduchim. This aint a teenage blog after all.
smartcookieMemberHudi- it makes a difference when we do Mitzvohs.
Whatever should be done with the right hand, we must do with the left.
For men, a big part of it is Tefillin.
smartcookieMemberOy, Grandmaster, I thought you’ll say cuz you ran out of screen names 🙂
smartcookieMemberPapa bear- we have quite a few of those threads already and I can vomit from boredom!
smartcookieMemberAlways- it’s ONE poster, not some.
Anyway, don’t listen! You continue doing what YOU know is right.
smartcookieMemberEclipse- oh my! You could Plotz….
She is so innocent and clueless how she’s hurting you with those words…
smartcookieMemberI just watched it! Cute and good!
And BTW Eclipse- I thought about you then! All far’daage’ed, just listen to some music!
smartcookieMemberYeah, I’m a lefty. Doesn’t bother me in the least bit.
smartcookieMemberLoooong ago, when the YW Editor used to write on the News Home page, in the comments section, that any comment for this article should be posted in the CR!
That’s how I found the link. Anyone remember that??
smartcookieMemberEclipse- I’m so happy to read the hope in your words!
May Hashem help you further.
smartcookieMemberI luv cookies that are smart.
smartcookieMemberGo to Shalheves in BP. They have a zillion tapes on every topic out there.
smartcookieMemberOomis- I very strongly, yet respectfully disagree.
Certain things you cannot hide- pregnancy, children….
But other things don’t have to be advertised.
Keeping the grandchildren a secret, will only hurt her friends.
But not dancing Mezinka with her child in public, is being sensitive and thoughtful.
It’s not SO major, that the wedding cannot be without it.
