ShowjoeMember
something undefined. humm…
is it candy?
ShowjoeMembermdd:
“Kanoi, he promised forever and no matter the numbers?”
He didn’t specify any limits, so there should be none.
“Plus, he was the most evil ever, so why rely on or invoke his promises?”
What does one have to do with the other?
“Jewish identity” — you seriously thought they meant “Shulchan Aruch” to the dot?”
I wish. But a little bit of tolerance for those who learn Torah from the state that sees itself as a continuation of the Jewish People would only be appropriate.
ShowjoeMemberall right mod, no links.
lets try again. so if you want a complete list of all discworld qoutes go to Wikiquote and search for “discworld”. (yea its awsome i know)
ShowjoeMembernot a sheep: “Lost count of how many I have read” go to terry pratchet.com and see the complete list of discworld books and see if you read them .
nobody mentioned how many they read except for just my hapence, so can you all please tell us how many u read.
just my hapence: “I do have a least favourite (sic) – Thud! just tries too hard for me.” really? i thought it was brilliant, Terry Pratchett cant try too hard, the more he tryes the better the book is!
favorite quote: “Was that justice? Was that a proper reward for being a firm believer in reincarnation for almost 130 years? You come back as a corpse? No wonder the undead were traditionally considered to be very angry.” hilarious!
sorry, no links
favorite character: igor, a brilliant contraction by terry prattchet
shnitzy: what does da local biblioteca mean (but u can have an applause anyway)
ShowjoeMember“*owowowthathurt*”
why? what other book would you chose?
and where is everybody else?
ShowjoeMemberdoes anyone have any stories about Rav Wolbe?
ShowjoeMember“Very much overdue.” agreed!
so to the rankings: i have so far read 24 of terry Pratchett’s <b> discworld series, but i have plans to read 3 more.
we have to determine what is considered discworld books or not (the free wee men, the last hero (comic book about Cohen the Barbarian), The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents, and various other discworld related books)
also i think every member should have to name their favorite TP book; mine is night watch (awesome book!)
(and to all the people who haven’t yet read any TP books, you should!)
ShowjoeMemberwelcome Torah613Torah!
and to continue the ongoing trend, i too never got welcomed.
anyone else want to sustain the “welcome,i never got welcomed” trend?

obviously, or else how would everybody under 40 be able to say /brich shmie/ when taking out the Torah, the portion is from the /zohar/
ShowjoeMemberif there is no coalition formed in (?)90(?) days, there are reelections.
ShowjoeMemberis it an airplane?
ShowjoeMemberOOM: well it a good thing u dont count them because i started reading one and it wasnt good (now that u mention it, it might have been /Nation/ (remember mods?)) so i would prefer if they weren’t counted.
P.S. if u look carefully my 2 posted are different. one says i read 21 books, and one says i read 22 books; the first time i miscalculated.
purplicious: how about u,did u count non-discworld books?
for next post :whats that got to do with enything?
ShowjoeMembercan it hold 500+ people?
ShowjoeMembersushee: hilarious!
ShowjoeMemberby the way, i have updated my TP collection im now in middle of 22, and 23 is already taken out of the library!
and also does this club include all TP books or only discworld ones?because im not such a fan of his non-discworld books.

ShowjoeMemberhe only thing I can think of that differentiates those 5 seforim is that they are the only seforim in Kesuvim that are read publicly on a holiday.
yea, that’s probably the reason.
ShowjoeMemberi heard of a prank in which a (non jewish) person was taking some else on a date in yanke stadium. he had a bunch of (?friends?) that were following him and they paid for a feww secondes on the screen to say “<girls name> will you marry me , your love <guys name>” or something similar and she said Yes and the guy didnt want to marry her. It must have been hilarious.
so i guess that here the Guy said no (not what u were looking for but he did say no to a Marriage Proposal).
(note: i an not approving this prank, i think i was horrible, and i would NEVER do it, how ever i count resist posting it)

ShowjoeMemberall these type of ‘best <insert preferred word here>’ treads are a nice idea, the problem with all them is that as time goes on, they fall off the main CR page and everybody forgets about them. then when it come the appointed time (for all those ‘best <insert preferred word here> of the <preferred time period here>’ treads) nobody remembers about the tread.
ShowjoeMemberdidnt see that halevi, but i did find out that ywn stands for “your worst nightmare”
