Oh boy! How are going to torture me today?

I just hope its a different mod tomorow….

    in reply to: ?? ????? ???????? #969202

Oh Shrek, thats how we used to write notes in class when we had non-jewish teachers! Lol. They never understood our ‘secret language’

    in reply to: ?? ????? ???????? #969201

Personally, i try not to put my entireentire songs up, for 1. One day I hope some of these will be famous and then you’ll all know my identity! 2. Sometimes people see them, and they would recognize me, no one knows i have an account here, and Id like to keep it that way. If you really really want to see it, i will post it tomorow and maybe another song and after you see it, I will ask a mod to delete it. Will you do that tomorow if i ask nicely oh kind and considerate annoymous mod (whom i REALLY hope is not 73)

I was writing about how everything is for the best…..like moving away……

    in reply to: ?? ????? ???????? #969198

Seriously?????? The point is, the CR does not record your voice!!!!!!!! And is it my fault if my translator app can’t translate ‘posts’ right????? My friends, teachers, and strangers who ask for directions understand me in hebrew, if you don’t that is your problem!!!!

Plus, I even wrote a song in hebrew, and my friends said I had no mistakes so there!

    ??? ????, ??? ??? ?? ?? ???

    ??? ??? ???? ?????? ???? ??? ?????

    ??? ?? ?????, ??? ??? ???? ????

    ?? ?? ??? ??? ???? ?? ????

    ?? ??? ???? ????? ?? ????

    ??? ????? ????? ???? ????….

    ……..thats all I’m writing

Plus, don’t google translaye hebrew and expect to get something that you would normally say in english. 1 google translate sucks 2. Hebrew and english translating is practically impossible since there are so many words without translations or the aren’t used in the other language or sounds normal in hebrew but in english looks like I’m talking to a queen or something. Simple every day words in hebrew may be long words in, english weve never heard of. My friends made the misake of thinking we say the holidays in english and translated the word Shavous, i looked at the translation and said “Ive never seen this word in my life! Try saying it in hebrew” so she said Shavous and I said “Oh, why didnt you just say so?”

I never said ‘There’s a place in my mind’ was by females. That is the one I was reffering to. Did you like ‘Sincerely me’? My favorite song is: if you ask me, i think, your wonderful, your beatiful…….if you ask me I think, its such a shame you don’t agree, cuz there’s SO much of you, you don’t see- if you ask me.

TheMusicMan: The chorus is definetly the main part, it’s the glue of the song that connects everything else. Its the entire idea, the point you are trying to make. I end up writing the chorus first, usually. It’s the easiest! So the tune had to be somewhat good, but if its not the best, (sibce im no where near professional) people would not listen to my songs?

in reply to: Ami magazine #968953

I said I hadn’t actually read it! It didn’t look interesting enough, and they ussually have Mishpacha, and I HAVE TO know what happens next in the serials!

    in reply to: ?? ????? ???????? #969187

Ask all my teachers, I can’t remember their names either, never the less how to spell them. I know them by what subject they teach. My friend will be like “________ just had twins!”

    Me: “WHO???!?!”

Friend: “Ummmm….she’s been our teacher for like 8months already…..you don’t know her name?”

Me: “What can I say? I don’t remember names! What subject does she teach?

Friend: “Seriously? *sigh* She teaches science”

Me: “OHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!….Wait, no one told me she was pregnant!”

in reply to: To Lie #968505

YI dont lie, i just convince the other person that i didnt do it.

    in reply to: ?? ????? ???????? #969185

Well guess what, in real life, people dont laugh at my mistakes, but when they are down on paper……thats another story

    Torah: ?? ???? ?? ???? ??????! ???? ?? ??? ????. ??? ?? ????? ?????????? ??? ??????? ??? ???? ????? ??????

OOOT: Ya, but when you speak as much as I do, it comes out as naturally as english, i dont need to think, unless my friend says: “how do you say that in english?” And im like “……..good question….i dont remember…i think im forgetting my english” writing is much harder ‘is there an ayin or aleph or hey? How do you say invisible????? I mean if i didnt have to write it, it would be simple to explain, but explaining involves too many words to write…oh man, now i need to get a stupid dictionary…..(5 minutes later) finnally found the word…but….OMG why does the translation look like an essay????? Which word to i choose…..hmmmm….eeni meeni mini mo…..’

Moi ausi: please stop telling me my spelling is bad. Wanna bet i can write good if i want????? Ya???? That for the rest of the week every post i write hasta have less than 10 mistakes???????

in reply to: What do YOU think is the most important part of a song and why? #969158

Gammit, that is so true, that’s why i write the lyrics and make up the basic tune. Of course, i cant writr a melody and the introduction and the music with out the words parts. But the basic tune should match the words, that why i dont understand how one person write the song and another makes up the tune……

OI: i think you might like a CD called: Sincerely Me. Its by post-seminary girls that thought jewish music these days seems too goyish. Even if you listen to goyishe music, I think its wonderful. You can google sincerely me sarala pool and you’ll find it. My other favorite CD is: There’s a place in my mind. Its awfully old so i cant seem to be able to buy it in a store, but the songs are AMAZING. Its on mostlymusic.

What do you guyz think of this:

    The little things

    People spend so much time

    pondering every little thing

Every since word theyve heard or said

    and every begining…..

Sometimes we miss the forest for the trees

we think more about the thing we currently see

They say out of sight is out of mind

theyre not paying attention to the time

(This is part of the chorus):

things that that are just peices in a bigger puzzle up there,

in the sky, way up high, he knows, he sees, he understands,

he reads, every subtle movement in every little thing

Its a sample to one of my somgs (the parographs are in two different places in the song, so they dont connect so much)

    Torah316torah: ???? ??? ?? ????? ?????? ????!!!!!! ??? ???? ??? ?? ??????,, ??? ??? ????? -???? ???? ?? ?? ???? ?????? ???? ??? ???

Plus my english is perfectly fine, and so is my spelling, I ussually write in a hurry so I don’t look over my work. The only problems I have is knowing where a comma belongs, I tend to always put them in the wrong spots. My friends say english is hard, they are right, you should listen to all the things that come naturally to us! Like there is past progressive, past past, past present, past future!!!! They ask me for help and I say: ” How am I supposed to know the difference? I just learned how to talk!”

Hebrew has MUCH MUCH MUCH more grammer, did you know each verb has 106 ways ro say it depending on what it is, who are you speaking to and who are you talking about. My head hurts tring to remember which one to use….

Plus there are many mistakes we say every day as Haifagirl has showed us again and again

in reply to: What do YOU think is the most important part of a song and why? #969152

It was not snide, i just think its unjust that just cuz i can write but not sing no one should care about me.

rationalfrummie: thatnks SO much! My friend mentioned him and she let me listen to a song from him, i wanted to search it on youtube to download some songs but forgot the name! Thanks, ive been trying to remember it ALL week!

in reply to: Ami magazine #968951

I dont get it, but when we eat out i see other people have it. Im an avid reader so when we eat out thats like telling me: ‘Shopping613, now you get to read ALL the magazines we dont buy since it costs money, and I get to read them ALL FOR FREE’ -thats what my mind says

in reply to: superme is back! #968274

Yes, Goq tends to forget to welcome people these days, so Im an honarary member of the Welcome Wagon now. Check there to see your welcome!

in reply to: What do YOU think is the most important part of a song and why? #969146

OI : i meant good not goof. Anyway, there are plenty of jewish songs with good lyrics, i particularly like Chanale and Ari Goldwag’s songs. Plus lyrics are practically the same things as poems, i just noticed this, but i tend to think of them both as songs since when i read poems i automatically make up a tune for it. Making up tunes and Ryming words i have been doing since i was little, i hadnt realized what i was doing was actually writing songs till last year.

if you want good poems, there is a poetry thread here and classic.frumteens has TONZ of poems written by teens (im sure the poems are okthere because the girls arent asking for advice and stuff, they are putting out art) a few of my favoeites from frumteens i plan to repost in the poetry section to do them justice and more people will see.

I guess that a niggun is also moving, but is probobly more favorable for a boy since boys and men dont talk about there feelings and express themselves with words like women do. That must be why woman appreciate the lyrics more often.

in reply to: The YWN Coffee Room Welcome Wagon #1064869

in reply to: What do YOU think is the most important part of a song and why? #969137

    Ya but WHY?

in reply to: Ami magazine #968943

For some reason someone keeps stealing ours before we get it, or its not distributed on my street. Ive seen it at other peoples houses but i ignored it, the mishpacha looked WAY more interesting.

I suggest they get more interesting covers, more interesting stories and add a teen section and soduku, THEN ill read it.

in reply to: Do you care about the royal baby? #968212

Ive seen so much stuff about thid royal baby and havent bothered to read anything so until now i assumed he was jewish since all jews seem to have artucles or sales based on his birth and ingeretance, like some place is having free teabags or something, maybe he is from england???? I really have no idea. But i think we should spend time thinking about other things than goyishe princes…

in reply to: Water fountain on Shabbos #1030574

I know they make shabbos water fountains, but they are pretty pointless cuz the only time i want to drink is before kiddush, so i cant anyways!

in reply to: Who is Mordechai Schmutter? #967049

Im still upset you didnt pick one of our forty or so titles for your book! But, its ok, we got our names in and had alot of fun making up silly names that made us crack up. My family loves your work. But that article seemed so serious about you starting another column under a different name, and it didnt seem at all like a joke, sorry if i thought wrong.

    in reply to: Gezuntheit! #966913

    Why not?

    in reply to: Gezuntheit! #966909

But it all boills down to the original question: So it should be good to say bless you or wtvr, so why do the other posters say you shouldnt….

    in reply to: Gezuntheit! #966905

I learned that it wasnt a beleif, in like somewhere from the 1500’s -1899 there was some sort of bug going around, brought by all the new immigrants in america, in short one guy brought it and it spread, the bug was where if you sneezed you died, something like that. It only went on forca short while then stopped and they never discorvered the reason.

You know the song ‘ring around the rosies’ that was made during the time of the bug. Its about kids playing in the flowers, and it makes them sneeze and they a die, thats why jews like to sing ‘Ring around the Torah/Mitzvos’

    in reply to: Gezuntheit! #966903

I thought we say these things so we dont sneeze and c”s die like they did in the olden days???? I dont want to die!!!! So, ummm….what wrong with it???? Isnt it a good thing to say bless you or wtvr

in reply to: What will be the first song you listen to? #1074360

I think i wrote that its more embaressing when someone says good shabbos to you and you font answer back and they look at you like ‘whats your issue?’

in reply to: What will be the first song you listen to? #1074359

in reply to: The Chumrah Song #1077023

Lev Aryeh, your songs are really nice, my whole family loves them! But we think that 1. You could not use so many yiddish or hebrew terms that girls have no idea what it means since they dont use it and they dont learn gemara. 2. That you say the words a little clearer. Besides that u guyz ROCK!

in reply to: Shopping with a carriage #966380
