Snowbunny3318, most of the kids who take high level courses at a young age are not doing it because they are obsessing over their grades. They’re doing it so they won’t be bored out of their minds. And, Mensa is a society, not a classification. You mean gifted.

Torah, it sounds like you’re working hard. But, it doesn’t sound as if you’ve pinpointed the actual problem. Is the style of teaching working for you? Size of class? atmosphere? Were you put into this class because you are gifted? Do you enjoy math? Basically, is your only problem the fast pace of the class or are there also other factors? It’s great that you did better on the quiz, but make sure nothing will interfere with it staying that way or getting even better.:)

First of all, didn’t you look into the business before you got the job?

Second, from what I can hear, you weren’t very high up in the hierarchy of the office and therefore not privy to much of the background information.

You can’t make a deduction based on the fact that she did not have an office phone, as you did say that the business had only just opened. You need to find out more.

Of course it’s legal. Everything is.

You could argue out that anything is legal today. Shooting yourself in the head is perfectly legal, after all, you are defending yourself against yourself against yourself….

Do you mean ” You raise me up”, from the secret garden, recently sung by Josh Groban?

Google it. The Shwekey version should pop up in the last couple hundred links…

locks – portions of hair, mechanisms used to secure doors

    lox – smoked salmon

Wow. BY, that’s totally ridiculous. Hmm, so if I lived anywhere near you and I was fat and I found a diet that worked really well, you would CERTAINLY diagnose me with anorexia.I am very glad I do not.Judging by the fact that you even used the word in the wrong context, you know squat about the subject matter.

    I agree with Smile E. Face .

I disagree. whether you are rich or poor, you have Nisyonos and wealth has nothing to do with that. Wealthy people do not necessarily have time in the abundance and poor people have Just as equally if not more opportunities to sin…these tzaddikim worked on themselves to become that way and there are many who have had the opportunity to become wealthy and they didn’t grab it because they have no desire for materialism. Wealth has nothing do to with it. no matter how ii is (legally) acquired.

I like it, just my hapence, it has good motivation too begin with…except what about burnout? sometimes you confront the world and it hits back just a little too hard. After a while, you don’t really feel like getting up again. Especially when you know that pretty soon you’re just going to fall down again…even further….

    sorry that was rather morbid.

    sunsets

    myriads of brilliant hues

    blending with the darkening blues

    heralding night

    stars

    twinkling in the vast unknown

    universes whirl alone

    specks of light

    silence

    thickening in the darkening gloom

    morbid thoughts fill the room

    hold on tight

    morning

    but a dream away

wish for the start of a day

    clear blue skies

    no nighttimes

yes. I think every being is influenced by it’s background. the question is if people are born with morals or in their growth and because of their surroundings they develop morals. unless you say that a person is born with an innate sense of right and wrong, you cannot blame them for developing and acting on improper morals because of their flawed growth.

I think most people, aside from those who’s personalities lead them to questions, would become a terrorist given these circumstances.

you can’t blame them unless they made a conscious decision, which in my opinion they are not capable of.

Thanks for the welcome and the response ICOT.

This poem is, you know, kind of open, but I guess I’ll rely on that this is all anonymous cuz I have to get this out somewhere…

    they say

    “shoot for the moon

at least you’ll land amongst the stars”

    but

flying`s not as easy as it seems

    sometimes I

    soar so high and far

    grasping for a shooting star

filled with trust and hope, no fear

and for a second it’s all clear

    drawing closer to the moon

but then my fingers slip too soon

and once again I fall so far

don’t have a clue as to who You are

and there’s no landing somewhere near

    all those feelings disappear

of joy, so free and pure and proud

    again forlorn amongst the clouds…

They glistened with an inner eternal strength. Those miniscule picturesque diamonds of hope falling swiftly yet lightly upon the crowd below piercing their armor, dispelling dismal gray clouds of despair, and awakening their hearts to a better tomorrow. A hopestar journey of renewal.

    NOW PASS THE DARN KETCHUP!!!!
