hi–i’m new here. 🙂 i saw your post and your list of qualifications–“ACADEMIC!!!!!, b’iyun, tochen NO “fluff,” i need to be able to ask questions!, yashrus-i dont need a show…,emes!,NOT narrow minded”–sounds exactly the way i would describe machon raaya. it’s not as stressful as BJJ but the workload is quite demanding. there is neither busywork nor fluff–the learning is all b’iyun, with sources, pure tochen. the teachers love love love questions and are not at all closed-minded. the principal is absolutely incredible and the entire staff is very warm and available, but not pushy in any way. the girls are shtark, very frum, diverse and extremely driven. i strongly recommend it. hatzlacha with your choices!
