No like to “Shtel hock”
ShiiMemberANYONE?!?!
ShiiMemberI think that the bottom line is, that no matter how smart or thought out a boy or girl is. And how shallow or un-shallow each spouse is, they must have someone guiding them. The world is such a sick and twisted place, and sometimes even sincere and good people with the right intentions can get confused an off course. So all in all, Daas Torah and a personal Kesher with a Rebbe is essential to thrive and fulfill our Tafkid in this world.
Agree???
ShiiMemberPlease answer…
ShiiMemberI really think that the woman shouldn’t have been rude to you, because that is NEVER correct; but when all is said and done, your husband shouldn’t have been changing the baby in public. It was an honest mistake and you’ll know for next time. DONT STRESs
ShiiMemberKeser Chaya is a great seminary!!! I personally didn’t go there but I had friends that dos and they loved it! It’s a warm seminary that is very mainstream. The impression I got was that the girls were frum with solid hashkafos but not Yeshivish.
ShiiMemberI don’t understand why it’s necessary to always make things into a joke. It was an honest question and noones forcing you to answer… Just don’t make a mockery out of someone else’s real question.
ShiiMemberOK, clearly I wasn’t so accurate and asking my question. So I’ll rephrase: Is they’re the type of boy out there that although he’s working he still associates himself with the learning/ more yeshivish world? Does that make it clearer? I know that the color of the shirt doesn’t define a person, but we all know that the outer appearance does point to who He is
ShiiMemberI think that as a general rule it doesn’t really matter what the gift is, it matters what the thought behind it is. It happens to be that has become a common practice for flowers to be given to a woman because they appreciate the smell and the presentation.
