So then why did you feel obligated to stick in your dagger?
June 23, 2011 11:29 pm at 11:29 pm in reply to: Flatbush- why are the streets so empty after dark? #780425sheinMemberI’m happy I live far, far away from any of those places where people are happy to live far, far away from BP & F.
June 23, 2011 11:17 pm at 11:17 pm in reply to: Flatbush- why are the streets so empty after dark? #780421sheinMemberIt’s quite in the streets of suburbia too, and people seem quite happy about that.
June 23, 2011 7:49 pm at 7:49 pm in reply to: Flatbush- why are the streets so empty after dark? #780415sheinMemberapy: The homes in BP are NOT smaller than the homes in Flatbush by and large.
sheinMemberGet him a basket for his bike or a bike with a basket.
sheinMemberOne point I would be remiss to not point out is that it is the very same Chofetz Chaim who educates and admonishes us about Loshon Hora, that also in his vast writings educates and admonishes us (in strong language no less) about pritzus.
sheinMemberHow’dya manage in that weather without an AC??
June 23, 2011 4:26 pm at 4:26 pm in reply to: Has the amount of Lashon Hara really decreased with all the attempts made? #779882sheinMemberI think we need a Chofetz Chaim Tznius Foundation to educate us about tznius with the same effort that the Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation educates us about loshon hora. Afterall, it is the same Chofetz Chaim who writes strongly about tznius as he does about shmiras haloshan.
June 23, 2011 4:17 pm at 4:17 pm in reply to: Has the amount of Lashon Hara really decreased with all the attempts made? #779880sheinMemberThat’s great. Now if we could only have the same success with reducing pritzus, and making people aware…
sheinMemberWhat if an unknown person spams you in the supermarket?
sheinMemberWhat were you thinking when you chose adorable?
sheinMemberhaifagirl, You live in Siberia?
June 23, 2011 3:52 pm at 3:52 pm in reply to: Those who live in NYC, whose Mezuzos do you buy/use and why? #779602sheinMemberI don’t trust anyone so I write my own.
sheinMemberWhat does yours represent adorable?
sheinMemberfarfrumt: How did you have 2 close calls?
sheinMemberThey say the only secure password is something you can’t remember.
sheinMemberAt least let us realize what we lose when we cannot be at home so that we don’t delude ourselves into thinking it is natural.
sheinMemberWhat is so hard to understand is that rabbonim and roshei yeshivos have been crying out loud to us about this problem for so many decades already, and yet it keeps getting worse.
sheinMemberHow do you have Shachris minyanim starting after ??? ??? ??????
sheinMemberWell said HaKatan. I think we should all say Tehilim that this be defeated.
sheinMemberSo lying to your wife to keep shalom falls under the general heter to lie for shalom? Or specifically why not?
sheinMemberTatti and Mommy. Sometimes Ta and Ma.
sheinMemberDaasYochid: In that case, I can’t understand why some Yeshivos/BY’s don’t offer these immigrants children a free Yiddish education, to keep them out of PS. Yes, it’s expensive, but to let Jewish children go to PS — even if the parents don’t value a Jewish education — is a much much crime.
sheinMemberWhy not have it on a football field?
sheinMemberMy next door neighbor gives the bochor a farher before his daughter can go out with him.
sheinMemberWhat were you doing immediately preceding being given this advice?
sheinMemberI very much disagree. The traditional home of a wife as a stay-at-home homemaker is very much viable and preferable. Understandably and unfortunately it is not always achievable, but it certainly should be every couple’s goal and ideal.
sheinMember“4th hour”
??? ??? ????? today was about 10:30 am. Is that past the 4th hour? (And how does the 11:00 minyan start afterwards?)
sheinMemberTwo polar bears are sitting in a bathtub. The first one says, “Pass the soap.” The second one says, “No soap, radio!”
sheinMemberWhy did the chicken cross the street?
To get to the other side.

June 21, 2011 6:20 pm at 6:20 pm in reply to: Many attempts were made for the Kallah. How would you proceed? #791128sheinMemberThat’s different, since you are willing to accept whatever they pay, large or small.
sheinMemberRight! Was that too easy? 🙂
sheinMemberRiddle 1:
A family lives in a round house, they leave there daughter there alone one day, and shes murdered. Working at the house is the butler, the maid, and the chef. The family asks the chef “did you kill the daughter?” He said “no, i was preparing dinner”. They asked the butler “did you kill the daughter?” he said “No, i was hanging up the coats on the coatrack.” They asked the maid “did you kill the daughter?” she said “no, i was in the corner reading a book.”
Who killed the daughter?
sheinMemberThat’s a funny line, but not halacha. A man is responsible for the ruchniyos of his family members.
sheinMembergavra: That “shitta” you attribute is non-existent. The Gedolim in Eretz Yisroel have been at the forefront at protesting the sodomite parade in Yerushlayim. Many of them personally attended.
sheinMemberthat’s sad ;(
sheinMemberthank you mod80!! you are the nicest.
