Baked ziti. Doesn’t really need a recipe. Cook the ziti per package directions. Place in baking pan. Mix with marinara pasta sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese. Finally, top with shredded mozzarella cheese. And bake.
sharpMemberGoq, way succinct.
Ranks right up there as “best post on the CR”
July 10, 2013 8:10 pm at 8:10 pm in reply to: Is theyeshivaworld.com nothing more than a tabloid in disguise? #964876sharpMemberI find that YWN presents their news stories accurately without spinning it. That, in and of itself is very far from tabloid style.
Remember, it IS a news site. So it’s news that will be reported here. It is what it is…
July 10, 2013 8:06 pm at 8:06 pm in reply to: Appropriate outdoor activities for the Nine Days #965034sharpMemberThe park. Young children can never get enough of it.
sharpMemberPoint of fact: Who cares?
I beg your pardon? Are you aware that this is a high profile case that’s being televised nationally? Obviously the entire country cares and for good reason, this is very significant for a couple of different reasons.
If people wouldn’t care, this case would not have been high profile.
sharpMemberSuperGlue
Bad joke.
sharpMemberChildren this age really love to listen to stories. And lots of them.
I really believe children this age should run around more. They shouldn’t have to sit and learn so much in camp. Come on, these kids are really little.
sharpMemberThat must be very hard.
They might really like you as a friend and maybe they even enjoy your company but are not so good at verbalizing it. Is that possible?
Wish you good luck.
sharpMemberGoq, Don’t even try.
(To pull back, I mean.)
sharpMemberJaguar.
In a New York minute.
sharpMemberAlthough we all know the halacha of four inches below the knee, many people just dress as they please.
No, it’s not Halacha. It’s a chumra.
sharpMemberIt’s obviously serving its purpose, or else they would’ve changed it already.
sharpMemberHi Shopping. Welcome back 🙂
sharpMemberI’m with you, buddy.
sharpMemberOutdoor grilling.
And fresh corn on the cob.
sharpMemberThe Goq. Because he’s head of the welcoming committee. 😉
sharpMemberOh, I stuck “complete” in there. Lol. Can the mods take it out? Sorry
sharpMemberOy. Hope it will be successful. May he have a Refuah Sheleimah.
sharpMemberAfter you set the restrictions you can’t download an unfiltered browser. Unless you have the password for the restriction.
You know what you’re talking about. So do I.
I have an iphone, a filter and an Appstore. So there.
sharpMemberSG: sharp- If you don’t, then you can just download another unfiltered browser. I know what I’m talking about.
No. There is a restrictions setting in the general settings. You put a restriction on the apps, videos etc.. and then you can only download apps that pass the restrictions.
sharpMemberIt would be nice. They kind of expect it and besides, it’s a service. If it works better for you, maybe weekly? Like at the end of the week.
sharpMemberYou’d be hard pressed to find people that don’t snoop around in medicine chests. Such is human nature.
I don’t. And many people I know don’t.
And about human nature, well, yeah, that’s what we’re supposed to be working on… Honesty, integrity and everything else that involves human nature.
As far as private stuff, I and most people I speak to don’t have any secrets in there. But it’s not the point. Snooping is snooping even if the cabinet is empty.
July 1, 2013 8:13 pm at 8:13 pm in reply to: Cutting off cars waiting on linerude or not? #963448sharpMemberYes, definitely rude. People that are in a hurry, should schedule accordingly and leave a couple minutes earlier to avoid these situations. Traffic is unpredictable.
sharpMemberSG: You don’t have to lock the AppStore to put a filter on the iPhone.
sharpMemberNever heard of Director or Camp Mother getting tips, unless there’s a real reason for it.
sharpMemberShudder indeed…
sharpMemberPopa & Oomis: I hosted someone couple years ago, (I was home) and they went snooping in my medicine cabinet. They deliberately left the door to the cabinet open so that I should be aware that they snooped.
True story, no kidding.
sharpMemberJF: Many people had awful experiences with guests that they did trust. They learnt the hard way.
Obviously not every guest opened the door just a crack and closed it right away…
sharpMemberPeople are entitled to their privacy in their own home.
The fact that the OP is annoyed, insulted and shocked, THAT’S creepy.
sharpMemberOOM, +1000 (as usual)
SlichosGenendel: “Turns out it was just on behalf of most of the CR. “
Still? Which part of speak for yourself don’t you understand?
sharpMemberReal nice, go playtime!!
sharpMemberIt definitely does sound like there’s some serious background percussion there.
sharpMemberShallow container, lid on but not sealed.
sharpMemberBeing here in the coffee room helps, by the way.
sharpMemberHi Shopping. Hope you’re enjoying your break…
Just thought I’d let you know how amazing I think it is that you always manage to be so upbeat here despite of what’s going on in your real life. It’s not easy being a teen especially when you feel so misunderstood.
Remember that one or two posters DO NOT represent the entire coffee room.
Keep up your colorful personality and enjoy life! You have so much to offer.
When you decide to come back many of us here will enjoy your cheerful comments.
Keep smiling and have fun!!
Come back soon, please.
sharpMemberWith all due respect, your mother should have taken this up with YOU, not with your wife.
sharpMemberOk, So Raoul Wallenberg along with all the other courageous non-jewish men and women of his generation is kind of self understood for me.
So my vote goes to:
The teachers at the school in Newtown, CT.
NY Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly
Steve Jobs
They do inspire me, in different ways.
sharpMemberThis thread should be officially dedicated to Haifagirl!!
Enjoy the nachas, haifa!!
sharpMemberI can’t believe this one was not mentioned yet.
It always bothers me when people say
“Brother-in-laws” and “sister-in-laws”
Instead of:
Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
sharpMemberHealth: A little bit of booze to treat OCCASIONAL insomnia is not so bad. The other ways have many side effects. If it’s just sometimes and only a little bit, then it’s not such a big deal.
This is what she’s saying:
(“I sometimes have a bit of alcohol just before bed. That helps, too.”)
June 14, 2013 2:48 am at 2:48 am in reply to: The Government Is Monitoring Your Phonecalls and Internet Searches #958860sharpMemberSure. Big Brother is watching… (playtime you can research that)
sharpMember“Garmin-Follow the leader”
Interesting, Magellan is said to be the first in navigation, years before personal GPS became popular…
sharpMemberNike – “Just do it”
Jaguar – “Grace, space, pace”
There’s lots more. off the top of my head, these are the one’s I really like.
sharpMemberNo I never do.
I often ask them to cut it into pieces for me, but not always.
sharpMemberSure, the solution to all their problems…
Just when we thought that there’s a lot going on, we learn that there is really much more.
What do we coffee roomers understand…
sharpMemberOne of the perks of being a teacher is getting off before the chagim.
Teachers don’t get that many perks, so be happy for them.
(No, I am not a teacher, btw)
sharpMemberA true patriot is the fellow who rejoices that the system works, when he gets a parking ticket.
sharpMemberLike pizza, dislike olives.
Not having supper tonight.
sharpMemberSome advice for a modern chasid: Don’t like, don’t read.
If I know what you are talking about, so then yes, it’s a very important read, especially now before the summer when many kids spend most of the time playing outside.
sharpMemberI’ve decided to take it upon myself to point out something we’ve all been thinking but no one has been saying.
And how would you know what others are thinking?
