    Dear A.A.Q.
    I purposely didn’t quote wiki, which is laced with references to a certain Polish author…a rewriter (about the Holocaust too) for obvious reasons.

    BTW, on the phenomenon of some Jews not wotking to benefit brethern.. here is an earlier sample about this COMPLEX.

    Jewish Virual Library:

    Morgenthau Commission was a U.S. commission from July to September 1919, headed by Henry Morgenthau Sr., to investigate the situation of the Polish Jews after the pogroms which took place in Poland at the end of World War I…
    Because of his delicate position as a Jew, Morgenthau made a point of appearing objective and was inclined to justify the Poles as much as possible.

    Made Aliyah, yup, and what Arab “palestinian” Rachida Tleib insinuated about “trusting” Blinken is also poisonous…

    Made Aliyah, re MTG crazy “ideas” at least she is shunned by most. VS the two anti Jewish “activists” (I.O, R.T).

    The overblown myth of “pro-palestinian” stand…

    There is anti-Israelism and then there sympathy to Israel’s plight (the struggling to survive island) .

    Unfortunately the largest percentage of crowd waving the flag of being “pro palestinians” is really in essence bigotry, intolerance to wards Israel.. it’s also what connects neo nazis and militant Arab “activists”.

    A very small percentage really “aches” for the Arab palestinians.

    Yair Cherki, Jan.31.21:
    The argument here is not wataboutism. Violations in one sector do not justify violations in another sector. In the eyes of the public, the publicity about the violations in the ultra-Orthodox sector is consumed from both the health aspect and the social aspect. The problem is not with the coverage of the ultra-Orthodox but with the non-coverage of the rest, which produces an image that does not reflect reality, hatred at times, and also frustration and insult among the ultra-Orthodox.

    The topic is about media hypocrisy. Not to justify any wrong doing.

    jackk. To define CURRENT Biden’s wagon-hard-left-pulled by the “squad” (which includes two Islamic anti Jewish hypocritical so-called “left” — since their religion and progressive values are contradictory) is as far from “objective” as one can imagine.

    Jan.31-21. Channel 13 news, Amnon Levy program:
    Rabbi Boaz Naki first explained that the funeral of Rabbi Soloveichivk was a lad o a protest… Explaining that it was a protest for poditivity (by this he wanted to alude to secular mass media rationalising or ignoring mass protests by lefty non-religious but hypocritical but highlight anything at ultra Orthodox). He then asks the presenter of the program, Amnon Levy, why he does not ask about Al-Aqsa, why he does not show the pictures of the thousands (In density) who participate every Friday in the Al-Aqsa Mosque … He did not answer the question..

    Since IrHanidachas was mentioned…

    Or-haChayim states :

    And [Hashem] shall give you mercy and compassion. The intent of this order here is … this act will [usually] give birth to the nature of cruelty in the heart of man, as the Ishmaelites told us the murderers cult in the king’s order that they have a great desire when they kill a person…therefore G-d promised them he would give them mercy even though nature would give birth to the cruelty …

    1. One of the reasons of Haredi (ultra orthodox) objection to serve in Army (Israeli draft) is on the score of BrisDin “Katlonis”..that it might affect one’s soul, even when killing is justified. (Yeshivishe T”Ch explained it years ago).

    2. We don’t know who Amolek is. Since the time of NACH. Sancheriv bilbeil Kol HoUmos.

    3. “Amolek” is also an idea…

    Shoshana Chen, writing in secular ynet today: [translated]

    “How did a small group of rioters cause the police to enter Bnei Brak like an elephant in a china shop, and behave in violation of fighting rules in a built-up area lined with an innocent civilian population, including the hallucinatory action of grenades and shots in the air?”

    Imagine if Trump …

    Had forcefully denounce the haters at Charlottesville;

    Had reacted to prevent immediate upon seeing on the screen the rioters storm the Capitol Jan/6;

    His legacy would be so much different!

    By now, the only Republican hero coming out of it was/is Mike Pence. A good guy, someone that puts Nation’s values above ego. Even was at risk of being killed. (He is not a hater and a Israel-defender).

    Ujm. I’m no liberal. Far from it. But I can’t forget his reaction when he said “there were very fine people on both sides.” It is why Gary Kohn left him immediately after in Aug/17.
    ____

    As to MSM.

    Here it is:

    * CNN (became mostly opinionated in recent years, than “reporting”) , BBC, NYT= left

    * FOXnews, Nypost = center-right (Tucker= right. C. Wallace = left).

    * MSNBC , The Guardian = Far left (like Haaretz. But Haaretz and The Guardian are more ardent anti Israel).

    * Newsmax = right

    I would suggest an observation that Truml, in a way, was like Nixon (after revelation of audio of) his diatribe against people, including against Jews, yet, when push came to shove, LE-MAASE he defended Jews more than that Yeke Henry Kissinger, around the six-day days responding to Golda Meir’s request .

    The huge difference is that Trump’s words were in public.

    And of course his pardons on last day helped many families.

    Trump admin. did defend Israel against anti-Israelism (i.e. Nikki Haley) which most, though not all, is a form of bigotry disguised as “legitimate criticism,” not to mention the danger of Genocide Israel is constantly under… haShem yerachem.

    But Trump has an over-the-top ego problem.

    It’s what is destroying much of his legacy and has damaged Republicans’ image.

    It’s a shame.

    It is why IMHO I said, he needs to swallow his ego, once.

    Sure the hard left is also responsible for pushing many into grievances and frustration. Including providing violence voices. But the direct “order” (or at least the way some of his followers took it) came from Trump on that day.
    Why now?
    After he is gone from office. His message would (probably) be meaningless.
