There are people who think they are doing a Mitzvah by saying the first 2 words of Yaaleh Vyavo aloud or Vsen Tal Umatar…One is not supposed to do this and in fact it disturbs the one doing it as well as other peoples Shemonah Esrei. Please avoid doing it as it is against Halacha.
I believe the maharshal says not to announce yaaleh v’yavo before sh’moneh esrei of ma’ariv, and instead the gabbai should say it aloud during s”e.

I get what you’re saying, Mod29, I think…basically there was a guy Phil who never posted in the CR, then someone else who did post had their username changed to Phil, and clicking on Phil gets you to the wrong profile. Interesting.
It’s complicated, though, because some changed usernames will link to their original profile. Does that mean they belong both on this page and the linked usernames page?
Wouldn’t that mean that the present posters have the changed name, and not the owners of the profiles you linked?

I wasn’t sure if the absent punctuation marks were: a comma after the word “statements”, quotation marks before “most” and after “Jewish,” or if there was supposed to be a period after “statements” and “Jewish”.
