If Popa Bar Aba says something nice, you probably misread the post.

If Letakien Girl says something not nice, you definitely misread it.

Patur Aval Assur is worth talking to, if you have time and patience to read through half a library.

Lamed Vov Tzaddik is AWL but should he return, I’m sure you’ll find his posts both inspiring and thought provoking.

RebYidd23 usually has excellent observations and irrefutable arguments. Only respond on his threads if you can hold your ground firmly and only when backed by proper research and argumentation.

I could go on, but I don’t want to take away from the thrill of meeting new posters.

Develop your style; cynicism is the rage in the CR, but you’re free to be optimistic, factual, troll-like, or whatever suits you best.

Certain posters have signatures, trademark emoticons or phrases. Don’t get tempted to join them.

Don’t bother trying to talk to the mods; most likely they won’t respond.

Keep your posts short; nobody’s interested in long ones.

Remember that whatever you say, everyone else will either ignore or disagree. I wish you luck.

There is so much Torah learning, a lot remains lacking in terms of emunah and bitachon. Also the quality of Torah learning is a far cry from what it should be.

Do men even exist? Everyone talks so much about them, whether pro, con, or impartial, but it still hasn’t been proven that there are men.

It starts off as once a year, and then it goes to twice, thrice… Before you know it they’ll have twenty birthdays a year. OP is right. We have to put our foot down as soon as a breach, no matter how small, is found. Unexcused absents are unexcusable. It’s our job to put our collective foot down and set reasonable rules.

Too many deleted posts will get you expelled from the CR, so anyone here for a while obviously isn’t too crazy. (Correction: obviously keeps their craziness in check.)

Half the people here are teens? I thought half the people here were much older.

i also overcame quitting smoking. It wasn’t easy; I had really wanted to smoke, but I realized it just wasn’t right and continued smoking.
