Coming directly from a 16 yr old guy: understand the difference between not touching girls and not talking to girls. Where I live, there are lots of girls and guys who hang out and are shomer. Then again I suppose there are an equal amount of those who are not. Me personally, my best friend is a girl and we’re super close and we’re both shomer. So make of that what you will

And lastly, how can you unabashedly claim that we need a return to civility, when NOWHERE in Charlie’s post to he make any type of insult as implied(correct me if im wrong). He simply stated the facts of the matter. Ironically, it seems the nearly everybody else, instead of countering charlies claim, just layed insult after insult upon him. lets name a few. Again. despite the fact that Charliehall has calmly and methodically responded to EVERY SINGLE CLAIM made against Barack Obama’s efficacy as President, without turning to irrelevant personal insults, nearly EVERYBODY who responded on the CR has done NOTHING but heap insults on him.

The system is broken. As Notasheep said, this is not a novel concept. You aren’t the first person to voice this complaint, and I daresay you won’t be the last. But the question is, what to do about it. Whatever the solution may be, it is going to need the backing of Rabbanim and Gedolei Torah throughout the many levels of the Jewish Community. And that is what is most difficult.

If its important to you then it is (or at least should be) important to him. Communication is key. Why not sit down one day when you are calm and collected and express your feelings to him? Oftentimes spouses don’t even realize that something they are doing is irking their spouse. It seems from what you wrote that he is aware of your frustration. It’s possible he doesn’t comprehend the degree of frustration you feel.
no. it was a hoax. why somebody would do that i have no idea. the parents of the triplets you mentioned said somebody took the picture of them off their facebook page and started a story. it is a good idea though!
