Insurance Industry Warns Of Higher Rates, As ObamaCare Supporters See Long-Term Fix
(Thursday, June 28th, 2012)
President Obama says the health care law makes coverage more affordable, but the insurance industry reacted to the Supreme Court decision by saying that the ruling will actually end up raising rates even more than they have climbed since the law was enacted.
The group also cited the creation of state health insurance exchanges, which will give consumers choices of insurance plans. It also said the new insurance company regulations help consumers.
AHIP counters claims that premiums will decrease. It cited an Urban Institute study that shows insurance premiums for singles policyholders, who are 18 to 34 years old, will increase by $1,400, from $3,600 to $5,000 a year.

(Girl runs as fast as she can)
There was a story a number of years ago about a little girl who saw a dog coming down the block and ran across the street. Unfortunately, there was a car coming down the block and the girl never made it to the other side.
The dog is not as dangerous as the car. Be careful.

SayIDidIt™ParticipantTri-State Faces 2nd Heat Wave of Year, Set to Start Friday
(Thursday, June 28th, 2012)
The tri-state area is bracing for another heat wave a week after stifling humidity and temperatures in the mid-90s baked the region for the first time this year.
Temperatures are expected to cap at 89 degrees Thursday with little humidity before surging into the muggy mid-90s Friday, Saturday and Sunday, meteorologists say.
An excessive heat watch is already in effect in southern New Jersey, and forecasters expect the watches and warnings to expand to more of the tri-state.
The heat wave is expected to officially begin Friday, with a few isolated morning storms giving way to a steamy 94 degrees and mostly sunny skies.
That trend continues Saturday and Sunday, with highs in the mid-90s, before slowly petering out early next week as strong to severe storms Monday afternoon break the heat by Tuesday.
Temperatures blazed across the metropolitan area last week, sending children to sprinklers as authorities urged people working outdoors to drink plenty of water and stay in the shade.

Now, they have the phone with all their contacts, appointments, programs and are familiar with this phone. So you think they should throw out the phone and spend money to buy a new one which tey probably will have to block the internet from anyways (unless they get some old phone that holds 100 contacts and 10 appointments in the whole calender!)

– Yeah, there’s really no way to do this. Smartphones are meant to access the internet, that’s what they do. You’d have to completely disable the phone to prevent internet access.
– In theory if you had root access, you could rename the tiwlan_drv.ko to say tiwlan_drv.ko.bak and wifi wouldn’t work at all.

(Wednesday, June 27th, 2012)
An organized global cyber crimewave has been underway for months, according to a report released today from security firms McAfee and Guardian Analytics, attacking banks in Columbia, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the U.S.
A total of roughly $78 million was successfully siphoned out of bank accounts, according to researchers, with a potential total of $2 billion attempted. (Banks are understandably loathe to reveal losses and due to additional security concerns have not been identified.)
First, you have to run some sort of anti-virus software. There are free basic versions out there from the likes of Avast, AVG, and BitDefender. Many of these monitor new threats and will warn you about suspicious Web pages.
