Wrong answer. You would (hopefully) call your Rov and ask what to do.

Sam4: I’m not trying to say anything. The Shulchan Aruch said it for me. See the Rambam (I believe) Hilchos Ta’aniyos 2:14 (somewhere around there) for a possible Heter. The Poskim also bring down that “Lezarez Bimelachtam” is Muttar as well (which should apply to non-Jewish and Jewish music equally).

I’ve been looking for it (well, sort of; I glanced somewhere but haven’t really had time to look for it). I feel like I saw somewhere that the Passuk of Ki Mitziyon Teitzei Torah refers to the Lishkas Hagazis where the Sanhedrin sat.

Sakanah means “Afilu Safek Sakanas Nefashos”.

Dr. Seuss: There is decent reason to assume that being placed in prison constitutes a Sakanah. It certainly did in an unenlightened Europe. That was probably a real Sakanas Nefashos to be Oveir a D’Oraisa to avoid. Being put in prison in America probably isn’t. So that’s why I said “maybe” with a Shinui.

Zahavasdad: You would have to refuse to sign. That is not a case of Sakanas Nefashos. Maybe if the cop threatened you with resisting arrest for refusing to sign then you could sign with a Shinui.

Essays aren’t worth as many points unless they changed it since I took it. Just practice a lot with the questions and make sure you know the rules of writing. You seem smart, so making a logical argument shouldn’t be a problem. Just prepare yourself so that you know what types of questions you’ll get and familiarize yourself with the trick answers they could try and give you.

Giggle girl: I am not accusing you of anything. But there are bad people in this world, and the internet gives them unprecedented access to everyone, especially someone naive enough to ask an anonymous internet chat room if anyone would take an overseas trip with her. We might feel like a nice, peaceful community on here but no one really knows who anyone else is. So, once again, I say that this is just asking for trouble.

Or even someone pretending to be a girl. You just don’t do things like that anywhere on the internet, I don’t care how secure and honest the CR is. It’s just silly. You find friends of friends of friends in real life. Not online.

Sam4: What does that Gemara prove? That a Tzadeikis is held to an incredibly high level? We know she did something wrong (and it’s not clear what being Medakdeik in her steps means; that can be read several ways), but that doesn’t mean that it’s something that is Assur for the average person.

Jews have to choose whether to use his devices well or poorly. But those who were not strong enough to resist temptation eventually would have found other ways to go off. I agree with HaLeivi’s point. The question never gets off the ground. Your question would only apply after the first day, in which case Lulav is D’Rabannan and stealing is D’Oraisa. And even so, you can only say Aseh Doche Lo Sa’asei when the two are simlutaneous. If the Lo Sa’asei comes first then it’s a Mitzvah Haba’ah ba’aveirah.

Health: If it’s obvious you don’t have to try. Just like I wouldn’t go into my room if it was 40 degrees (F), I don’t even have to go into the Sukkah. And while that is technically true, your body has a much harder time fighting off any infection or virus whatsoever when it’s colder.
