If we want Hashem to dwell in the midst among us klal yisroel his holy loving nation then we need to live up to the means of living on the level of ruchnius and frumkeit to be deserving and to be holy enough to have Hashem dwell in our midst.
I.e. how can a person expect a person to dwell in his home filled with non tznuis magazines and an atmosphere of a non jewish home of sports and TVs etc… With not kosher things to see?
How can a loving nation klal yisroel expect Hashem to dwell in our midst when we are filled with running after every desire and pleasure non stop and using non kosher smartphones with tons of tumah posted on it etc….

nothing just happens by coincidence. How much longer do you think we can just fool ourselves into thinking we can fool Hashem the king of kings ruler of the world into thinking that we don’t get his direct wake up call for serious teshuva? There’s no one else to blame but ourselves. This could’ve all been avoided if we just woke up immediately as soon as the coronavirus pandemic mageifa was just starting and done teshuva as a nation together. Just like they immediately did in NIneveh and in the story of Purim and their lives were saved.

The best thing a person can invest their money into is Tzedaka/charity it’s an eternal investment that always goes up in value and stays with you forever. On a practical level how about for a few examples.
at least at the times when we are in the midst of ruchnius like davening and learning Torah etc…. Leave your cell phone in a locker outside the Bais medrash and give the shul and Hashem the proper kavod it deserves without any disturbance in middle of talking to Hashem the king of kings ruler of the world.
At least when it is the proper time of mourning for the churban habayis which is on Tisha Bav (or focusing on teshuva on Yom Kippur which is a special day set aside to just focus on repentance) let’s not be looking at our clocks how much longer until we can get up from the floor and go back to sitting on a couch? (Or on yom kippur the holiest day of the year how much longer until that short break between mussaf and Mincha) the point is that today on Tisha Bav as I sit on the floor mourning over the churban habayis I beg Hashem to just forgive klal yisroel and bring the Mashiach I’ll even fast a full extra day and this is my focus right now as I mourn for the churban habayis. (On yom kippur I just beg Hashem to please forgive me for my sins of this past year-everyone sins and no one is perfect-and if I have a break before mincha grab the opportunity and say some extra Tehillim to beg Hashem for a complete forgiveness from this past year)

Lots of smaller stores were allowed to remain open as long as they were ESSENTIAL needed stores as food or drug stores etc…. Perhaps you forgot that. But large stores also have more aisles and space to breathe to leave social distancing between people and the state also had workers in front of the big department stores only allowing in a certain amount of people at a time so they knew there was always enough room for social distancing to keep people safe and away from each other, while on a small stop in store there’s barely any space for social distancing unless you take one customer at a time and the rest wait in the car until it’s their turn like the state does at the Motor vehicle centers
Every country is different what is best for them based on their exact situation and seriousness of how bad the situation is to how tight the lockdown needs to be made

People are definitely more careful with their money when it comes from them working hard versus if they received it for free as a gift or from their spouse as support etc…. Sadly in today’s new generation alot of parents do not have control over their children and rather then be a mafia mob boss on top of their children with being on bad terms with them.
