Being that I am from Cleveland, Ohio, I knew a family Katzenellenbogen. They were Lubavitch. I think they are now in Crown Heights.

Thank you. Yes, it worked out just fine. They took the car service that you recommended Lakeway to the The Cheder. They are an excellent Car Service.
SaftaParticipantThe Wolf: Thank you so much. I am a beginner to digital photography, so I need at the moment a simplified course I guess leaving the Canon 4xi on automatic. I know that you get much better pictures when you set the aperture and shutter speeds, but I am not familiar with doing all this at present. I wouldnt know what to set it on, so by me leaving the camera on automatic, I would avoid the guessing and blury photos.
First I need to learn the operation of the camera, and Iguess eventually I hope to learn more.
Thanks again.

SaftaParticipantl. There are a lot of hashkafa classes..the classes are mostly for learning, not so much for the testing. The focus in Pninim is not academics! they want you to learn for the sake of learning! and they make the classes interesting so you dont get bored!
2. You can not choose your classes but if yoou have a problem with a specific class for some reason, you can always talk to the Rabbi about not going to that class.
3. Open is a term that is defined differently by everyone. The teachers are not afraid to talk about shidduchim, boys, English music, movies etc..if that is what you mean. If there is a question that you feel uncomfortable asking in class, you can always go to any of the teachers who will be more tan happy to answer you. Many of them work in or have worked in yeshivos for boys who are off the derech so anthing you bring up to them probably won’t shock them, and they won’t judge you.
4. It is an out of town school..not to many people from Flatbush.. It isnt so hard to find your place there. Most of the girls are friendly and go out of their way to make friends with everyone.
5. They go on all the same trips as every other school..Bnei Brak shabbos, Moshav Shabbos, Tsfat Shabbos, and old city Shabbos. They also go to the Galil, Eilat, Hikes, Biking, swimming, touring, boating, seperate beachess. Pninim goes on all the basic seminary trips plus more!
6. Pninim doesnt have manyu rules that are had to keep. Curfew is enfoced, dress code is enforced by some teachers, and stuff likle that.
7. The uniform is to wear a blouse to all classes and on all trips. Outside of that you can wear whatever you want that is tsnius (no words, covers knees, collarbone tights etc..)
8. There is an option to stay in if 10 girls want to stay in the dorm every week. If you know people, you can go to them, oterwise they place you. Teachers always welcome you to their homes and it is definitely worth going to them!
9. Three
10. 10:00 is curfew and 11:00 on motzei shabbos. If you are on time almost all thetime, it isnt hard to ask for late curfew when you need it. If you re 15 minuites late or somethin they arent too strict either, as long as it doesn’t always happen.
11. You can be in Ben Yehuda until it gets dark.
May 31, 2012 12:16 am at 12:16 am in reply to: any advice on purchasing a GOOD Canon camera? #877238SaftaParticipantI myself was thinking on buying a Canon SLR digital camera. After doing much research, I felt that the Canon T3i would be the best for me. I would be setting it automatic, so this camera is supposed to be an excellent camera for photos and really great for video. The Rebel T3 does not have movie capability. So I feel that you would be better with the T3i. Also the Canon T3 has a 2.7 screen while the T3i has a 3 inch screen.
If you are a beginner like me in digital photography, I would recommend that you go to B & H and take the course, which is free and he will suggest the different SLR camera and what to buy.
On the B & H website look under events space, and see when the next class is. I found it very interesting
SaftaParticipantAinOhdMilvado: I think you are right. Do you have any personal recommendations of a good exterminator.
SaftaParticipantThink first: Thank you, but Ike’s exterminating is in Monsey with a 845 number, and I am in Brooklyn. That phone number you gave me belongs to a person by the name of Goldstein. They also list Terminex before Ike’s exterminating
chocandpatience: I am looking locally, not in Yerushalyim. Thank you
