I never had Applesauce Cake, but I found this recipe online. Personally, I would leave out the cloves and allspice (not a fan) but the picture looked like what you described. Enjoy!
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon clove
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
2 eggs
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2 Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
3 Combine all ingredients; pour in prepared pan.
4 Bake 60-65 minutes or until done.
SacrilegeMemberI’m good at thing that need precision work or patience.
Things thats are mini, or one bite (amuse bouche) are my favorite things to make, and eat!
SacrilegeMemberI believe the Tom Tom you have to pay for a service. The Navigon and Garmin (in the later models) offer it for free, but there are advertisements you have to put up with (in the Nuvi) and its not as accurate.
SacrilegeMemberGood luck! :-/
SacrilegeMemberI do. Unfortunately not as much as I would like to.

“just work in Dunkin Donuts,… and no rude clients”
I’ve seen some pretty nasty people in DD…
Coffee not hot enough, wrong order of donuts, are you sure you are up for that? 😉

Something similar happened to me. I didnt want to hurt the guy but at the same time I REALLY did not want to go out w him!
In the end BARUCH HASH-M (!!!!!) a different guy said yes so I was able to tell him I was busy, and he (finally) got the hint.
SacrilegeMemberPrice range?

Welcome back!
SacrilegeMemberI dont really know a lot about one thing… I think I know a little about a lot of things, unless its something I enjoy. Food happens to be one of those things 🙂

In food knowledge or in knowledge in general?
SacrilegeMemberWolfgang Puck was the innovator of “Modern American Cuisine” before him there was only hot dogs and pizza. Puck refined and brought class to American food, he put us on the map.
Is he the greatest Chef in the world today? probably not. Genius? Most definitely
SacrilegeMember“Ya they’re Chinese or french not Jewish”
I’m not sure about Chinese…. although David Chang of the Momofuku restaurants has taken off like comet. Worlds best Chef (arguably, there is that whole molecular gastronomy argument) right now is Ferran Adria who is Spanish.
Although you do have a point, Jewish men are not known for their food.

Clearly you have never met the woman in my family.

When my father asks someone what they do for a living he asks them,
“How do you keep your Ruchnius attached to your Gashmius?”
Isnt he adorable? 🙂

It’s old news. The prelude to one of Shwekey’s songs is also the prelude to a Carrie Underwood song.

Did you not do any checking?
SacrilegeMemberNot a huge fan of Ice Cream.
SacrilegeMemberMax & Mina’s has the strangest flavors:
Grass, Ketchup, Horseradish, Beer, Herring, Corn on the Cob, Pizza…
SacrilegeMemberHow were you lied to?
What if she really ended up liking you? I doubt she wouldve acted like that even if that was the “plan”.
(Not that I’m condoning their behavior)
SacrilegeMemberI’d venture to guess Ptcha didnt come about from the wealthy.
SacrilegeMemberBuilding a smoker out of car parts… THATS the real deal.
There is a restaurant called the Iron Barley where the chef created his own smoker, you can watch it on YouTube, it was featured on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives on the Food Network.

SacrilegeMemberYou dont have to tell the Shadchan but you should DEFINITELY tell the boy. When you feel it is getting serious thats a good time to tell.
SacrilegeMember“If English people can eat bread pudding why can’t we eat cow jello?”
I’m not even sure how the two are comparable!
Perhaps you meant to compare it to Haggis, which is Scotland’s national dish, containing sheep heart, liver and lungs chopped together w onions, spices and beef broth and then shoved back in to the sheep stomach and cooked at a nice simmer 🙂
Kinda like a Hannibal Lecter sausage…
SacrilegeMemberNot to be a racist… but I think that problem is contained to the “Latin” community.
(Lip liner is so 90s)
SacrilegeMemberIt *bothers* me more when I see people whose makeup is still stuck in the 80s.

I usually go w a nude lip, but I dont think red is tacky. However, if you are questioning if you can pull it off it is probably not for you, a bold lip is one of those things that you need a lot of confidence to pull off and when you dont have it it shows.
SacrilegeMemberFirst of all the contestants knew what they were getting in to when they signed up.
Regarding critiquing: The Chofetz Chaim does address it in his sefer, but he does so regarding a speech and how you may change someone’s mind that the speech wasnt actually good rather delivered poorly. I guess you can apply this here, but I dont think its the same thing. I would say (for what my opinions worth) that if you want to watch the movies, watch them without reading the comments from the peanut gallery.
About Chukas Hagoyim: Last time I checked a message board wasnt the idea of a Jew….. Just sayin

Which one did you use? Try Prime Time by Bare Escentuals. I know a lot of people use the Urban Decay primer… not a fan.
I always buy “drug store” mascara. Maybelline Volum’ Express is great, it’ll stay on for 2 days if you dont scrub it off!
SacrilegeMemberEyeshadow primer. Works like magic.
SacrilegeMemberWhat about grey?
SacrilegeMemberdunno
I dont know what color eyes you have, but since you have big eyes you have a big palette to work w, did you ever consider using a different color other than black for liner?
