I never heard of Corners Creek. Although I keep trying to expand my fathers Bourbon repertoire given the chance he’ll always buy Woodford Reserve…
SacrilegeMemberWIY
Not so much… I am the second to oldest.
SacrilegeMemberMasbia. There is a form to fill out on their web site and they’ll email you when they need your help. And then maybe I’ll see you 🙂
Also, Tomchei Shabbos.
SacrilegeMemberWIY
I wouldnt say only girls are hooked on it.
Minyan
Its a fast food place that specializes in different varieties of schnitzel (they have a web site)
SacrilegeMemberOh! so that was who I saw in the womans section….

That has always been the rule, big unctuous Reds (Bordeaux,Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir) for meats. Lately however there has been an overhaul in wine pairings. Reds with fish and more delicate flavors (Rioja, Barbera). If you want to do your own pairing its really not that difficult, taste the food and then sip the wine, if it enhances the food you know its a good pairing, if it detracts try soething else.
Personally, I like the bubbly dessert wines.
SacrilegeMemberShikur
I think you are going to have to get more specific, being that you have Reds & Whites and then so many more sub-categories within those two.
SacrilegeMemberFeif Un
Some low end bottles there… 😉
SacrilegeMemberlkwdfellow
Thats about the only thing 😛
Is Prichard the one that has the name written in script and is in a square-ish bottle? If yes, I havent bought it but now that it has your haskama I’ll have to give it a try 😉
SacrilegeMember…. and wouldve made a great President.
SacrilegeMemberWIY
No, not really.
Maybe when I was younger. I would always butt in to the adult conversations with snappy one liners and they would get a kick out of it, but I have since matured 🙂
In “real” life I dont usually voice my opinion, I guess thats why I like commenting in the CR. I mean, at work obviously I do.
I dont like confrontation, and my family is pretty competative in that way so I usually back down quickly and dont push the issue or I dont get in on the big ‘fiery’ debates at all unless directly asked for my *expert* opinion 😉

I disagree. I would have loved if Rudy would have actually CARED about his campaign. He id extremely passionate. Although he is a Republican, he also believes in Gay Marriage, I think we could use that kind of leader. Someone who is fiscally responsible, conservative, but at the same time doesnt impose on personal freedoms.

SacrilegeMemberlkwdfellow
I know (about the Pappys) but they have been out for about a year now, only the $240 bottle has been available.
SacrilegeMemberWIY
Neither am I, maybe that filter is a bit too strong maybe I should down grade.
SacrilegeMemberWIY
I’ll drink to that 😉
SacrilegeMemberWIY
Well I’ve installed the Filter 10K on my mouth, since at any given moment thousands of things are pouring into my brain and are begging to be said.
SacrilegeMembercoke
I’m pretty sure I am older than you. I am from Flatbush (that narrows it down)

Mississippi mud pie?
SacrilegeMemberI dont know if I would call her a hypocrite… that seems a bit harsh. She gave in to temptation.
Personally, I have a BB, don’t remember what life was like before this lifesaver came around.
SacrilegeMemberDon’t know if this is the standard one…
3 cups corn flakes, crushed
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup white corn syrup
6 ounces chocolate chips
1.Heat peanut butter, sugar and corn syrup over low heat to melt. Stir in cereal.
2.Pat into a 8×8 lightly greased pan. (I line my pan with foil and then lightly spray it. When it is time to cut them, the foil lifts right out.).
3.Melt chocolate chips over low heat or in the microwave and spread over top. Cool until firm
SacrilegeMembercoke
I transcend all categories.
I’m kinda like an Ambassador in that regard 😉
SacrilegeMembercoke
seems like the solution for everything, eh 😉
SacrilegeMemberThe point is you always have to be thinking 100 steps ahead of your mouth moving.
SacrilegeMembercoke
When I saw your second post I knew what it was 🙂 (clearly if you have a headache you are not in front of a computer screen!)
I have never used the special female version Advil but I know people who did and it has gotten mixed reviews.
Seriously though, if you are in THAT much pain you might consider seeing a GYN.
SacrilegeMemberI really dont understand the point of this senseless sinas chinam.
Why is there even a discussion, what good can come out of this?
*I’m going to put my brain on self clean now*

Thats right you live in Lkwd you have that cheap liquor store there, lucky you….
Makers Mark is cheaper than Basil, the cheapest I’ve bought Basil @ was 38 on sale.
For the higher end (which I get my father for Y”T) I’ve gotten Bookers, 1792, Blantons, Gentleman Jack.
Still havent been able to bring myself to break the bank on the Pappy Van Winkles.

I dont know how you met your wife.
But, if at the time you met her you were dating girls with the intention of, maybe in the future she could possibly be my wife… I would say its fine. Some how this got blown totally out of proportion. I think what R’ Moshe was trying to say was, if you go to night clubs party with the opposite gender go out for a nice meal and then move onto the next character the next night/week/month that is the problem. If you are marriage minded that isnt called social dating.

There is a way to do it (altho if you are already watching the show, I dont think the commercials are really bothering you)
Helpful
Thats a blanket statement.
SacrilegeMembercoke
If you have feminine issues they have special Advil for that.
SacrilegeMemberHow do you know he didnt get insulted?
SacrilegeMemberlkwdfellow
Although, some of the pricier bottles have a smoother finish (ie Basil Hayden)
SacrilegeMemberAlieve!
Advil, Tylenol, Motrin…. I’m immune.

This way you can filter what it is you are bringing in.
*Waiting to be yelled at*
SacrilegeMemberUnfortunately the Republicans dont see the problem.
What this country needs is a Centrist, not a Neo Liberal or a Neo Conservative. If the Republicans (or the Tea Party) put up Sara Palin (what a Sham) we arent going to go anywhere. If the Democrats put up Obama we arent going to go anywhere. We need someone that can work with both sides as best as possible. Obviously no one agrees when it comes to politics but we have never been so divided. We need another Reagan that can unite the country.
SacrilegeMemberlkwdfellow
The good thing about Bourbons is that you can get a good one cheap. Whereas, Scotches the cheap ones taste well, cheap.
SacrilegeMemberron
Actually, banks do it all the time. They send the commitment and then pull the deal. Seen it happen dozens of times…
No one wants a bad loan.

I don think that R’ Moshe meant that if one goes to a singles event (which you have to talk to some other people casually) you will go to gehenom) If you are doing what you do L’shma, I think you are fine.
minyan gal
You are definitely on the short list! 😉

Learning 24/7 (text based). Rarely get a Hashkafa class.
Its in Cleveland so there are no Tiyulim either. Its rare that there is an extra curricular activity…. oh wait there were, AFTER school.
Unfortunately from what I hear Yavne is on the decline.
Most girls do not want the program they offer, and they are unwilling to change.
SacrilegeMemberWIY
Actually, I dont drink at all.
SacrilegeMember“Just curious if people ask the same question before they close on a home.”
No. But the banks sure do. Man, how many banks have pulled out of the deal at the last second….

Are you asking me if I’m a lush? Unfortunately…. I’m not.
But that is the alcohol of choice in the Sacrilege home, no scotch for us.

SacrilegeMemberbygirl
Pardon me being a little unsympathetic here for a second. What would happen if every last girl in the Seminary isnt your type? I went to Yavne NO ONE was my type, I went with NO friends, and now I have a great bunch of friends from there. We dont agree on everything, but I can definitely say they enrich my life. Take a leap of faith, everything doesnt have to be worked out to the last detail.
