July 19, 2022 12:12 pm at 12:12 pm in reply to: anybody heard of new heimish/chasidish community in Ramat Shlomo #2107241s1234567Participantthanks anyway for your help, i really appreciate your kind advice, i was just explaining what our community is like, and i really like Israelis, but we are very different by type
also, thanks to everyone who had advice to offer
i am just a bit stuck(as are many in our neighborhood) with the extremely high prices, see the ami magazine of last week for more details, i am looking for somewhere new to move with a few other people who are also not coping with the current prices, and it would be easier to convince people to join me if there is already an oilam there, and maybe also a shul

as i mentioned, i currently live in ganei geulah which is in romema which is basically exclusively chutznik chasidish, i am verry happy here, but its very very expensive, like 12,000 NIS – 13,000 NIS for a 3 bedroom dirah, and you asked about across the road in kaduri and thats even more expensive (like 15,000 NIS+), and televisia is not yet built, but is probably going to be even more expensive
regarding the chasisish oilam, the israelis and chutznikim are as far apart as it comes(unless you belong to a tight knit community like Belz or in some cases Ger), they dont daven in the same shuls, they dont even send to the same moisdos (the chasidish chutznikim have a few of there own moisdos, and the number of moisdos is growing all the time), my 2 year old son is not yet up to that stage, but i know most my neighbors, friends, and family send to these moisdos, but i dont know that much about them, some send there boys to israeli chasidish moisdos, but most of the people in these chedarim are chutznikim

israeli chasidish and chutznik heimish/chasidish are the most opposites that you can find
israeli chasidish speak more ivrit than yiddish(especially the women) there style is totaly different to my style
chutznik chasidish (or at least the ones who live in rommema) speak english/yiddish, and are generally alot more chutznik than yeshivish chutznik, its not a coincidence that shamgar is in our neighborhood
again i really like israelis, and i have quite a few israeli chasidish friends, but they are not my style in any way

i know there is a lot of chasidish oilam, but are they chutznik or are they Israeli?
i am looking for a chasidish chutznik oilam, like where i live in ganei geulah (obviously it dosent need to be that size) but i would prefer if there is already 20-30 families
July 18, 2022 8:00 am at 8:00 am in reply to: anybody heard of new heimish/chasidish community in Ramat Shlomo #2106708s1234567Participantwhen you say tuneh beigels what do you mean, becouse the last thing you will call me is a tune baigel, i am chasidish and serious but not heavy (where i am from in london, we are considered heimish/chasidish) i daven in nachlas akiva (ganei geulah) and i wouldnt call that oilam in any way chilled, is there any such kind of oilam there? i have heared people speaking about it where i daven, heared that a couple of people are moving/have moved there, but dont know them personaly
July 17, 2022 11:39 pm at 11:39 pm in reply to: anybody heard of new heimish/chasidish community in Ramat Shlomo #2106689s1234567Participantwhere i live in ganaei geulah its more like 13,000-14,000 NIS, but i heard that ramat shlomo is a lot cheaper? i am not sure if its true (thats why i am asking) but i heard its less than 6,000 nis for a new 3 bed
s1234567Participanttakahmamash
somehow where i live in ganei geula people manage to live a non Israeli life (even people that have been here for 15 plus years) so obviously you can stay European, there is a number of moisdos, rabonim, shuls, groups that cater specifically to this oilam, what i want to know is if it exists outside this area
Nechomah
i know there is a chasidish oilam in givat zeev, but its more israeli, and besides for the fact that belz is more of a tight knit kehila (and i say this as someone who has belzer friends)when i say chasidish i mean chutznik chasidish similar to the oilam in romema
s1234567Participantby cheap i mean 6000 shekels(1800 dollars)
2 bedroom diras where i live go for 9000 shekel (2500 – 3000 dollars)
s1234567Participantthanks
but the communities suggested here are not my style and too Israeli
s1234567Participantthanks
does anyone have more answers?
plus, does anyone know of more ideas of new kehilos in yerushalayim?
