I always know when I am out of NY. Drivers actually stop to let you cross!
workingbubbyMemberGo to Wealth of Health – vitamin store on Ave. U.They helped me years ago. Primrose oil, B vitamin with Biotin, multivitamin
and lots of protein foods. It saved the day, I mean the hair!
workingbubbyMemberThere is not much the landlord can do. If you are all frum people try to negotiate thru a Rav. Other than that, I recommend you start looking for another apartment. Take it from someone in the field.
The police can’t really do anything about it either and they are certainly not going to bother.
workingbubbyMemberYes. KA”H a few times. Then I replace the tzedaka money I used to buy the tickets and give it back to tzedaka. I am still way ahead. Everyone comes out a winner. The organization I originally gave to. I won something worth more than the money I gave and then the next tzedaka that benefits from the money I just regave!
May we all be winners!
workingbubbyMemberI don’t know where it is brought down, but my ten year old
son does that. It is very beautiful.
workingbubbyMemberI say Gut Shabbos to anyone that is looking at me. If a man is passing and looking at the people he passes there is nothing wrong for him to say Gut Shabbos. If a man is not looking at the people then I won’t say Gut Shabbos to distract him. But my general rule is to say Gut Shabbos to any Jew passing by. To the Goyim I wish a Good Day. Why not? May shock them to know there are friendly Jews too. One of the Goyim on the block told my daughter that we are the nicest neighbors on the block! All we do is act friendly. I tell my children – Be friendly but not friends!
workingbubbyMemberPut up a picture of the Mouse Rebbe – No Joke. Go to any seforim store and ask for it. I forget right now the name of the Rebbe.
There is a whole story how he saved someone in Europe – that the mice ate up the papers and the case was dropped.
The picture is really a segulah. Have two of them in my kitchen.
workingbubbyMemberchaimberlin702 – Do you like having guests on Shabbos?
Are you near the hotel?
workingbubbyMemberbarber shop on Nostrand off of J between J & K –
nice frum young guy – seems to know halacha
workingbubbyMemberHow much is Tiferes Golda and Tiferes Rivka?
What is the minimum?
If someone could make a chart of all the places, their prices
and phone numbers!
workingbubbyMemberI thought about the family all shabbos. They are wonderful
wonderful people – looking everyday to do chesed for others.
May Hashem send them a nechama to continue in the derech of
the chashuve niftar.
workingbubbyMemberApp. once a week, I take all the left over bread and challah – break it up and put it outside for the sparrows, they come in droves, especially now in the winter when they cannot find any food. Don’t do it daily or they will come every morning and leave droppings all over, but once a week does not cause a problem and you are feeding birds and not beeing baal tashchus!
workingbubbyMemberJust this week I explained to my 10 year old son, how he should
never buy anything from Germany even so many years later.
We were just looking at pictures of family members that were killed in the camps – little children. How horrible.

the manager’s always are patient and try to please the customers.
The cashiers must be trained – if there is a problem, call the
manger. I go there a few times a week for years – have never
seen an argument.
workingbubbyMemberofcourse – I agree with you – middos, middos – have to be
taught in the home and in school.
workingbubbyMemberI am very proud. My husband shoveled and salted before
6am. My son while waiting for the boss, shoveled by the
neighbors on both sides. People really appreciated being
able to walk on pavement.

these long vacations are no good at all.
