roshvrishonParticipant
its a message that the humans have become animals. Low morals, no shame, no fear of Hashem.
roshvrishonParticipantHe’s a fool and an ingrate. Period. As for his religion, it’s a cockamanaical religion that believes that Mr, and Mrs. God live on Mars. I kid you not.
roshvrishonParticipantHe’s a fool and an ingrate. His religion? Mormons believe that a Mr. and Mrs. God live on Mars. I kid you not.
January 13, 2020 6:26 pm at 6:26 pm in reply to: Why hasn’t the frumvelt embraced democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang #1822321roshvrishonParticipantWe don’t go for candidates offering “free stuff”. that’s socialism and bad for the country. We vote for the candidate who is good for the country and hence good for the Jews living in it. It saddens me to hear of Jewish groups endorsing bad candidates because they offer programs with free stuff. Where is their “seichal”
roshvrishonParticipantFunnybone. I don’t see the difference between a merchatz and a mikvah. the problem is the personal exposure can lead to bad thoughts. The Rema says that in his time the custom was to wash and the privates were covered so its OK. otherwise not. But I’d be happy to hear a hetter, since so many people go with their kids.
roshvrishonParticipantThe problem I am seeing here is that some people have been raised in a goyishe culture. We have a shulchan aruch and that is our culture. It does trouble me that fathers and sons go together to the mikva. Not allowed when the child is older than nine. However in today’s “culture” boys must be supervised because there are perverted people out there. So a father can stand there and stay dressed while the sons are immersing. They can then wait for him outside. Little boys can be with their fathers.
roshvrishonParticipantI agree with those that say we don’t need the מחלוקת exported here. those that are interested can easily find out what’s going on. I want to add one point about the discussion. I was told that the Hamodia came out while Moshe Sherer wasn’t well. He said that the 1st thing he will do when he gets back to work will be to shut down the Hamodia. Alas, he didn’t get back. This what I heard.
February 27, 2018 12:08 am at 12:08 am in reply to: Litvishe chasanim wearing frocks at their chasunas #1477794roshvrishonParticipantAs far as I know, all my cousins who live in Bnei Brak wore frocks by their chasuna and would wear it every yom tov all their years in Kolle and beyond. it’s not a new trend.
April 30, 2017 6:40 pm at 6:40 pm in reply to: Comparing Sephardic and Ashkenazic Chumras and Kulot #1266347roshvrishonParticipantI find one thing ashkenazim are more into than sefardim is the churban. A have nine days S have only the week of tisha bav. By a shiva call, A say עם שאר אבלי ציון וירושלים S just say תתנחמו מן השמים. A say אור חדש על ציון תיאר S skip that. A say צור ישראל קומה בעזרת ישראל and S skip that too. I believe the reason is because S come from בבל that did not experience חורבן בית שני while A come from those that went back with Ezra to ארץ ישראל. I have proof that I am right about the historical origins of the A and the S
roshvrishonParticipantwhy do you want to be more religious? is it because of a boy or your not happy with your own status? it it’s because of a boy then fuhgettaboutit. it’s not going to work. if it’s your own ambition that’s driving you than by all means, pick any advice that was given and fits with your style.
October 20, 2016 6:07 pm at 6:07 pm in reply to: Now that Trump has been revealed…hope your NOT voting for him #1187307roshvrishonParticipantI say that Trump is a goy. Kennedy was also immoral and so was FDR. It’s her policies, or lack thereof, that is bad for the country. Trump’s policies are better for the country. She is against Isreal, is pro abortion, and unbridled immigration.
March 4, 2015 10:44 am at 10:44 am in reply to: Why don't Yidden ever say yimakh shemo when saying the name of Emperor Hirohito? #1062723roshvrishonParticipantthe Mirrer Yeshiva was saved in Shangai during WWII. Shanghai was under the Japanese. it is in that ???? that they prospered so much after the War. The Japanese did not agree to kill jews.
roshvrishonParticipantwhat’s the big deal? just delete it
roshvrishonParticipantI just want to point out that years ago, in my neighborhood a Sefardi opened a Pizza store. it was a new thing then in Flatbush (more than 30 years ago – don’t ask my age) He was a talmid chochom and he baked the pizza, he insisted it was a regular piece of bread and couldn’t understand why no body was washing on it. He felt that the topping was superficial and didn’t affect the dough itself.
