I’ll be honest, I didn’t realize there was a commandment of hating and terrorizing other Jews in this respect. It’s a shame people are so focused on the garb and exteriors, but choose to ignore the simple statement even non frum israeli’s say constantly, “V’Ahavta L’Ra-acha Chamocha”. Forget the nevuos that in the ikvisah d’meshicha, the neviim say many things not only how jews from all over the world will be returning to eretz yisrael (all for different reasons), but will also have an army to defend themselves, but I’m not even going down that path. But to forget your tachlis and why you’re here, and what you’re set to accomplish down here, it’s a shame there are people who are so blinded. I’m not saying necessarily to live their way of life, but to cause such chillul hashem and so much hate, this is why we were sent to this galus in the first place. And in this specific case how they were trying to daven and connect to Hashem and create kedusha in the world through their teffilos, i’m sickened, more than usual

RookieRebbe613ParticipantFirst off, I think it’s really nice that you go very far out of your way to attend these amazing classes. Secondly you asked “and why I cannot just put a skirt on top or something”. You can, plain and simple, and that’s 100% tznius. Unfortunately there are people in society who judge others wrongly, and if they don’t do something which conforms to what they are doing, then they look at you badly, which is absolutely wrong.
RookieRebbe613ParticipantFirst off, both great Yeshivas. Second, iv’e met boys from both places, and asked them about their respective Yeshivas, and this was the most common answer: Mercaz is a place where guys have very good learning, and encourage the guys to grow on their own pace. Toras Chaim on the other hand has an extremely high level of learning, and the boys are also looking for growth, but come in more serious right away and is quickly becoming the top and hardest first year yeshiva to get into in Israel due to the sterling reputation of the Rabbiem and boys, and gorgeous new facilities. But don’t get me wrong, they say Mercaz is still also one of the top yeshivas.

It’s healthy to get out of the Bais or the kitchen once in a while to learn this stuff, it’s a shame some people are so close minded and won’t work on themselves
But the only problem with the idea is most couples who need the help will have to big of an ego to go get help. It’s like the people who engross themselves in mussar are the better ones, and the ones who need it more don’t work on themselves.
RookieRebbe613ParticipantThe main point Hashem focuses on is the effort you put in writing and placing it their, it truly doesn’t make much of a difference what happens to the actual note after, Hashem knows whats on it before during and after it’s in the Kotel.
RookieRebbe613ParticipantCoffee is a big waste of time, and the amount of time that people spend on the narrishkeit on here and there, it causes such bittul torah, especially in yeshivas, where the oilam is spending more time in the “coffee” room then in the beis medrash. Hashem should help those who lose precious moments on this world due to the batala on coffee.
