if I thought I were withholding something from my wife by not giving her my password, I would not withhold it.

Since I am not withholding something from her, I feel no need to share the password.

I have nothing to hide from my wife, that’s why I don’t feel it necessary to share passwords.

I’m having trouble with people making rules about whom to mourn.

We are all born good, and life has a way of throwing obstacles and misfortunes in our way that sometime effect the way we think.

Mental illness, physical illness, misfortune, bad decisions, malnutrition, brain injuries, traumatic experiences, evil intent, unintended consequences all go to shape the way we are thinking by the end of our lives.

Last night, I spent some time with family friends. The wife of this couple has had severe dementia for several years, and she rages uninhibitedly and cruelly about most of her close friends and relatives. She would rage when she was younger, but I believe her inhibitions and filters were intact then.

When she passes on, should I judge whether I mourn her on her current personality and actions, or should I remember that she was once a kinder person who helped out many before her mind was lost?

When someone seems at first to have no merit, I try to remember that they were once a baby whom someone bounced on their knee, someone who had hoped for better. They may have been an enthusiastic son, daughter, brother, sister, husband, wife, father, mother, uncle, aunt. They belonged to people who hoped for better lot than they received in life.

There were many people who were mentally bent in the Concentration Camps, and did things that good people ordinarily would not do. Should we judge them on their acts, or should we give them some leeway because of the horrendous things that were done to warp their thinking?

I don’t think whom to mourn is for us to judge. We can leave that for the True Judge, and presume that all our brothers and sisters are worthy of being mourned.

She leaves behind a brother and two parents. May they find solace among the mourners of Zion.

No man is an island entire of itself; every man

    is a piece of the continent, a part of the main;

if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe

is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as

well as a manor of thy friends or of thine

own were; any man’s death diminishes me,

because I am involved in mankind.

And therefore never send to know for whom

the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

The civil authotities seem to be doing an excellent job of helping with the search, arrest and arraignment. I trust they will continue to do an excellent job of giving The accused a fair trial.

I don’t believethere is even the slightest chance that the accused will get a Jkewish trial, so why even think about it.

The penalty for some of the crimes that he has been indicted on carry life sentences without a chance of parole. That is a very harsh and difficult sentence for a 35 year old man. Prison life is not conducive to good health or long life, or any pleasures you might get from being with your friends and relatives.

I am looking for a nasal mask for my next mask, one I’m sure this contraption is helping me.

I see several types of nasal masks, prongs, pillows, etc., so I’m not sure which you mean when you say nasal.

I recqll reading an article about mortality during a long summer heatwave in Chicago a few years back. A large portion of the deaths were elderly men, living alone, already somewhat infirm.

I can daven for that. I can also check on my elderly neighbors and relations.

I did not mean to sound fliipant. Extreme heat, such as we’re having in the northeast USA now is the deadliest of all weather. It kills many times more people than hurricanes, tornadoes and blizzards combined and should be respected as we respect other natural killers.

I got a face mask, but I would like some opinions on changing to a nasal mask or nasal pillows.

I wish I could tell you I wwas feeling better, but not yet. My early morning snoring has ceased, and that makes my wife happier and more rested, which contributes, most literally to shalom bayit.

The mask is the Resmed Quattro Fx. It is comfortable, as masks go. It is easy to get a good seal with it, and easy to get on and off and to clean.

I took the full face mask at rescue’s suggestion.

I think my insurance pays for a new mask every three months, which seems too frequent. They seem to be scuba equipment with medical price tags.

    Congratulations and thanks, bombmaniac.

I have a brother with the same illness, so I know what it can do to those who have it and those who love them. The worst of his illness occurred during the 1970’s, when it was taboo to talk of this problem. I applaud you for shedding light on the subject and, I hope, encouraging more openness, understanding and pathos.

Actually, I don’t like either name. I think you can do better.

I was once at a customer service desk at a suoermarket, and someone had just returned a cakebox with only one thin slice left in it.

They accepted it back, but it seemed very unfairnto the merchant.

Pcie 16 has many times the bandwidth of the other. This is important because a lort of bits are involbed in graphics processing, particularly 3d and video.

You might consider adding an add-on card, to offload part of the video processing burden.

You can use the slots to add video cards and sound cards.

Usually the integrated video on a motherboard isn’t that goo. It should be good enugh for most purposes, unless you’re a ga,er, or do a lot of caf or video work.

Add-on video.cards have their own memoey, so thy won’t use a portion of the computer’s main memoy. Therenare video cards that. Can be used in tandem, they share the work and make the vido processing even faster.

You will find that this new computer will likely seem very fast compared to the old one, but one day in the distant future, or when you start using video-intensive software
