YSV is large school with 4 classes per grade, with a nice mix of all types from very frum to very modern. In the younger grades they separate the classes by type, but the older grades are mixed by academic level. There are separate principals for the different divisions. For some children a large school is important so they can learn to fend for themselves.
If you are very liberal then Ateres BY is for you.
BY Chofetz Chaim is a great school with a frum balanced crowd of Bnei Torah. it is not the place for a parent that believes school is just to teach baking & sewing, they are a very education & Hashkafa oriented school, where there is emphasis on dikduk hamitzvos & Yiras Shomayim. At the same time there is a campy fun & happy ruach. The principal has a kesher with every child & parent, & will do whatever it takes to make each child succeed.
Bas Mikroh is a small & warm school, A big percent are girls from sephardi families, they have just gotten a new menahel and has begun trying to revamp their school and attract the young yeshivish crowd. It has a very relaxed & laid back atmosphere.
Bais Rochel you didn’t mention, probably because it is mostly chasidish.
