ok people, lets caaaaaalm down here!!! its like chasisis over here in the coffee room, e/o fighting. just chillax! lets continue this very much needed support group!!!
RedNails19Participantyummy- how old r u?
RedNails19Participantwill do. will do.
and she’ll be happy 2 know adorable misses her.
🙂
RedNails19Participantthats right ZeesKite…and her reasons for leaving is her business…
RedNails19ParticipantEclips is permanently off YeshivaWorld- but I will deliver your message.
thnx
RedNails19Participantso we would derive from that that we are all “old souls”?
I’ve heard that s/o was told by a great rabbi/mekubal that he is a new neshama/soul…
does one contradict the other?
RedNails19ParticipantDerech HaMelech- i;ve heard that before in passing…but I’m speaking in terms of judaism.
RedNails19ParticipantWell i can definitly say I’m pretty certain there are people I know that “have it” “are old souls” and until we spoke about it and came to the realization that there is something “different” about them and people who “consider” new souls (not babies) things started making sense.
but we agreed that it would be weird to discuss this with people, and really feel like only people who are “old souls” can understand.
I think it can be confusing if your the only one in a group of people “unliike” you…it this feeling of like: a strong need to accomplish on this world, a deep understanding of people and the world around you, a great yearning and understanding of abstract concepts (even in learning)…etc.
In our discussion we thought maybe “old souls” have a harder time finding their zivug because maybe you need to marry an “old soul” too…I know, it sounds VERY strange, and A LOT of pple might think this is crazy or ” another therapy/psychiatrist case” but if someone IS an “old soul” they might be able to comprehend our “theory”…
RedNails19ParticipantHaLeiVi- NICELY PUT!!!
(Is there a “Like” button?)
June 28, 2011 7:31 pm at 7:31 pm in reply to: Have you ever seen a Ghost? I mean a real one. #781600RedNails19ParticipantI do believe there is a concept of shadim/dibbuks/and when a neshama is still “lingering” after its petira on Olam HaZeh.
I remember when my great grandmother was niftar (On Friday- On her birthday) she m,ore “appeared” to me then in a dream- it was so surreal (i felt as though she was literally in the room) She told me some things to take with me for life (I was only 8)…I was so freaked out, during the week of shivah I was acting really strange…later on I found out a lot of my family members (grandmother, aunts n uncles) were visited too.
RedNails19Participanti very much agree with the concept of education with/ through music. It has been proven to increase learning/memory ability and helping kids acheive/grow better in school. Even shows signs of BETTER BEHAVIOR!!
Go for it!!!
RedNails19Participantlike kind of the concept of gilgulim but using the term “old Soul” like the feeling that you have aready been on this world..having a different perception/ intuition on life…it sounds strange, I kno, but does this make any sense to any of you?
RedNails19ParticipantI have a lot of theories….
RedNails19Participantwaaay to controversial 2 discuss here…
June 23, 2011 10:36 pm at 10:36 pm in reply to: Flatbush- why are the streets so empty after dark? #780420RedNails19Participantu people…oy…sometimes i just read, nd and *sigh*
As a F resident in the “ties” streets, I can say that it is true- its pretty quiet @ night; but its nice that way I think. There are busy areas like J, Cony, kings Hwy, Take-out stores (thursday Nights @ kold Kuts) but I will say this, after having lived in bp as well- there is NOTHING in comparison to what goes on…people walkin around @ 2,3,4,5AM like its in middleada day…:) but thats just bp!!:)
RedNails19Participantlol- worl
u sing??
RedNails19Participantwell i do wear Red nials (polish) …the 19 part, not anymore tho…
RedNails19Participantwell we like u mod80
RedNails19Participantnp np dw
RedNails19ParticipantI have been making money since I’m 12, babystting, working n stuff- and spending on what i wish, and what i need. My parents dont make a lot of money so i really didnt have much choice, but to live on my money; which im actually grateful for. It taught me the value of the dollar, money management, prioratising, budgets…etc.
So I think it would be a great thing for a teen to work hard for their money and spend it how they wish…if they mess up, they learn- cuz its their money, and it means more.
RedNails19Participantand i would care because??
I might not know who u r, and i honest dont care if ur 2, 15, or 100 m/f..ur point was very much an attitude I appreciate!
RedNails19Participantam yisrael chai- agreed, and i wouldnt give them the money directly, but pay off whatever they need- through me.
And im very careful with manipulation, I know how they play, i;ve been around that block too many times and i play no games, and they know it!
RedNails19ParticipantMake my dreams a reality.
RedNails19Participantits not 1 teacher…there were many.
And as many of you were saying, a lot of the teacher are little shnooks from Seminary, people deperate and need the money, old fogies..and dont have the proper experience or qualifications…and yes some of them ARE empty threats- but to a child its a clear threat, and totally unfair!!
I dont think its even possible to stop it, I can send the schools a letter but do you really think it would help?
RedNails19ParticipantFeif Un- whats that suppost 2 mean?
RedNails19ParticipantMiddlepath- I REALLY like you attitide!!!:)
you just my kind..lol
RedNails19Participanthappiest- dont worry so much, its ok.
If anything it was a “misunderstanding” on both out parts- its aright!:)
RedNails19ParticipantYOU SAID IT TOBG!!!!
RedNails19Participantbpt- i think u might need to re-lax!
RedNails19Participantchalila v’chas. the job I work @ is 100% lagit, the MOST HONEST place you can work at.
I am asking in general, and on behalf of some friends…(i might also add, as part of past working experiences)
RedNails19Participantty tobg 🙂
RedNails19Participantthere is no need for an apology
RedNails19Participantexactly tobg.
Is there a website that can show how lagitimate a business is.
And how can I find out is its shady etc…sometimes a very nice looking ex: office could be dihonest etc.
How can I prevent myself/people I know from entering a dangerous situatiion like this?
RedNails19Participant🙂 😀 😛 🙂 B-)
RedNails19ParticipantCtrl Alt Del- I really do hear what your saying. Yes, our generation is falling deep…but @ the same time look @ what “abcd2 so beautifully wrote, and put a smile on my face.
The world is built with balance- when there is so much Tumah, there is the equal amount of Torah/Chessed/ and Kedusha..and many times its hard to focus on the good and the bracha we have…but in order to survive this terrible wave of tzaros, pain, war etc and allow it to make us afraid we need to strengthen ourselves with the good, get involvoved, change your perspective- because at the end of the day there are always going to be hard and unimaginably horrific things…thats just the way the world runs/ and seems to look like…but its how you look at it.
The next generation sadly probably wont be any different, maybe worse (as unfortunate as that is to accept) THATS WHY IT IS SO CLEAR THAT MOSHIACH IS ON HIS WAY!!! The world has sunk so low into the pitfuls of Tumah!
So the challenge you have is: through all this and all the nisyonos- WILL YOU PREVAIL and come forth when Moshiach FINALLY COMES and say, YES, I DID THE BEST I CAN!!
Dont let all the darkness, hate, fighting, and ugliness the world sometimes shows us, allow it to dictate our lives- Take the tools we have and the Torah, to HELP YOU, PREVAIL!!:)
RedNails19ParticipantTrue. I agree with that tobg.
But you know what- THE UNIVERSAL TRUTH IS..no matter what “lists” boys have etc…it WILL NOT TAKE AWAY FROM UR DESTINED ZIVUG!!!
HASHEM IS THE SHADCHAN- EVERYONE HAVE FAITH THAT HE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU NOW, LIKE HE HAS YOUR ENTIRE LIFE!!
…THATS WHAT I’M DOING!!:)
….CUZ HONESTLY, THERE IS NO OTHER WAY…:)
RedNails19ParticipantI have the same thing.
Do you think it comes from your heart and emotions getting involed because of a personal emotional attachment to they’re situation. Like for example, you have experienced a simialr situation and those same feelings you had then resurface making you feel sorry/ pitiful/ sympathetic to the person?
RedNails19Participantuuum…..is this really the place to discuss your feelings, medication issues….maybe it would be wise to consult your PCP/Perscriber/Psychiatrist..

RedNails19ParticipantDid any of you watch that infamous propsal on TheCoolJew and Utube from this winter of of the couple in Monsey. It was a HUGE show- fireworks, champaign, in the center of town…
I think its best when its between two people ina romantic setting without the whole world being a part of a private and special moment..
And getting down on one knee…NOTHING WRONG!!
RedNails19ParticipantThere is NOTHING wrong, i think this is a silly thing to ask. If you think its an issue- discuss it with your rav!
RedNails19Participantanywhere nice and outdoorsy where I dont meet anyone I know.
RedNails19ParticipantPEOPLE- its a TRUE story- happened 2 ME!!
Yes, he took me ona FIRST date to a HOOKA LOUNGE/BAR!!
And he is a frum guy.
Sac- sometimes you can do research and people will hide things etc…in this case- who could fortell he would take a girl there?
RedNails19Participantps, and another story.
I went out with this guy who was driving around and around cony Island Avenue searching for parkiing…i couldnt imagine where we were going because it was on the higher avenues and was a little unfamiliar as to where we were.
Anyway, We finally find parking on the avenue, and i turn to him confused and ask “where r we going?”
so he pointed accross the avenue to what looked like a bar- a Hooka Bar!
Right away i told him I dont do Hooka and will not go in- he says whats wrong with it (right them I kinds knew he wasnt for me)- anyways, were not going here, theres a lounge right next door- with no hooka.
Fine we go in- and there WAS hooka going on..(if anyone doesnt know what it is- its basically smoking through what looks like a lamp)
We sit down at the end of the place and he says, oh i didnt know there would be hooka here…and didnt even respect the fact that I didnt feel comfortable there and didnt ask me if we should go elsewhere.
Fine- the climax to all of this was as while we were talking he says..yea…its a nice place…i was HERE BEFORE with another girl!!
So he lied about not coming here before and not knowing there was hooka!
Dumb guy- oy, and he wanted to go out again- no way mister!!
RedNails19Participant600- yes, my mistake “Asperger’s”!!
RedNails19Participantyes, a guy can totally pick me up in a mustang!!
