Who cares if they did not play the NA at the siyum it was a Jewish event why should we need to play a goyish song there. I think most Goyim have a enough seichel to understand that Yidden do things differently then them and no one was really offended except for people who look for every little excuse to hate Yidden (Had they played the NA it would have given people an excuse to listen to goyish music. anytime you would rebuke a person for listening to goyish music they would answer “but at the Siyum Hashas thousands of Yidden listened to goyish music” ( I am just joking about this.)

I have not yet to see a real erliche Yid wearing techeles only breslov baalei teshuva and mizrachim. I wanted to learn more so I went to the “Ptil Tekhelet” website and watched their documentary on techeles there was not one Chareidi Yid their just a bunch of modern people with “Dr” in front of their name.

I know one. But he does not eat meat, not because he is a liberal tree hugging hippy who feels sorry for the cow but because he is a big tzadik and has shailos with meat. Viznizer Rebbe from monsey also does not eat meat.

What good is the certificate? One thing I don’t understand is what is the big celebration for most of the people that finished shas through daf yomi? You cant learn a blatt gemura with an hour shiur a day with out alot of chazura and know it good. How many of these people remember what they learned in the beginning of shas in bruchos , shabbos and even the beginning of nida? There is a seder called Yisruel V’oreisa in Williamsburg that learns an amid a day then the one from yesterday, a week ago and a month ago and Shabbos and Yontif is off with no new amidim so you have a lot time for chazura. I ended Yevumos and the beginning of Kesivis with them and learned it pretty well.

I don’t know what dayan you call but I can always call a dayan and always get an answer on the spot without talking to a machine and not just stam someone with a R-A-B-B-I in front of their name but a big talmid chacham who knows daled chelkei shilchan urich. I don’t want to say his name here but he is well known in the chasidish community and I used to eat by him when I was buchor and always used to ask him shailos by the shabbos tish. a real tzadik with Yiras Shumayim.

You can buy the shirts in a dry goods store in Williamsburg, Boro park, Monsey or Monroe. The bekishes you can get at a Chasidishe clothing store like G&G or GB in Williamsburg, Boro Park, Monsey or Monroe.

Those are the reasons I heard Chesed over Gevurah It was probably not Rachamim because Rachamim is Tiferes which is also on the right side, and to be different from the goyim. buttons are a newer invention. Rebishe shirts only have 3 buttons and slip over the head and don’t have cuffs just long sleeves without cuffs kind of like what a short sleeve shirt has but longer. The rebishe bekishes with the velvet down the middle have hooks (shtrokes) instead of buttons.

Sorry first my post was about the question about the snap shirts not the chasidish right over left shirts. Yes the reason is because of rachamim over din. I saw in the sefer Minhag Yisruel Torah that says everything is right over left except for pants because you got to give a little away for the sitra achra so he will leave you alone.

A lot of times even if someone had a medical milah he has to have it redone by a mohel because the doctor does not cut off everything that is required by Halacha. The mohel does do metzitza b’peh or at least a chasidish mohel does. I am a ger so I know about these things.

Yes a ger does need metzitza b’peh who did not have a milah before.

unfortunately we live in America where people are caught up in shtusim. the yeshivish guys with their tight pants and pointy shoes and the chasidim with their supper tall crown on the shtreimel and peyos perms. Did you all actually know that something like a shtreimel has to be a certain style all chasidish chasanim today want a super tall shtreimel with at least a 4 inch crown( the pointy part at the top). When I got married recently i specifically got a lower shtreimel so not to buy into all the shtusim and how ridiculous is a peyos perm all the barber shops in Boro Park offer them. to curl the peyos nicely is actually a newer thing earlier chasidim did not do that.If you look at any pictures of Satmar Rebbe ZT”L you will notice his peyos were not curled. Klausenberger Rebbe ZT”L also and a lot of others. A lot of chasidisher rabunim don’t curl their peyos on Shabbos. their is also a shaila of boneh to curl hair (OC. 303 i think :26)

I started seeing CR in Yeshiva World news last week. I don’t see why this is any better then a sports game. It is also a big waste of time with a bunch of people who are not talmidei chachamim without daas torah writing their own opinions and bashing erliche yidden. as far as pritzes their are a lot of people defending these flatbush women who don’t dress tzniusdik. Don’t you all have something better to do like maybe go open up a sefer and learn a bisel Torah.

Ask one of those boro park tuna bagels who have the shtreimel with the trimmed bearded and cuff links which don’t match a shtreimel and bekishe.

So I googled it and found that there were people who protested against it because they thought it would have been better to have an asifa against child abuse. I heard people claim that and I answered them that I hear where they are coming from and that it is also a problem but there are more people using internet then abusing children and there are so many problems in klal yisruel that the gedolim need to address and will get to that eventually.

Who was protesting citified I don’t remember seeing them? was it Neturei Karta or just modern people who don’t want to listen to the gedolei hador and want to do what they please and use internet without a filter. Maybe Neturei Karta will be protesting at the siyum hashas because it is the Aguda.

Rav Miller ZT”Lmwas a true tzadik. The Satmar Ruv ZT”L who was a true tzadik had once said “iz du nor ein ish emes in America Rabeni Avigdor” There is only one ish emes in America Rav Avigdor. unfortunley people who don’t seek authentic Yiddishkeit look down at him as if he was extreme but really they are the problem!

I am not frum from birth and it really disappoints me to see how a lot of Yidden have fallen. How so many people try to debate and get of out doing mitzvos for Hashem. It says i think in the 3rd or 4th perek in Mesilas Yeshurim how foolish the people are who say ” I don’t need to be the biggest tzadik with a front row seat in Gan Eden as long as I am not a rasha in gehenem.” and when it comes to such a person regarding a gashmiusdike thing he just can’t stand that yener has a better car or house then him or something else but really the ikur is yener velt and the only way to get higher there is through mitzvos in this world. I have been from for over 7 years and B”H have been learning the whole time. all of you who are defending the way these women dress should be ashamed of your selves. The real erliche yidden everyone usually looks at as “extreme” and people look up to these people who don’t do the rutzen Hashem. luckily I live in a chaissdish community and things are not as bad as they are in the other more americanized modern communities but we have are problems too and don’t say I don’t know about other types of Yiddden besides for Chasidim because I have seen them too and became Chasidish by choice after experiencing the other groups because I was searching for real authentic Yiddishkeit and B”H have found it. don’t get me wrong there are very erliche yidden by the litvish also like Rav Elyashuv ZT”L who served the Aibishter 24/7.

Spirits of Solomon does not make. If any one knows of a brand of with a heimisher hechser please let me know my wife wants to make rum cake.

The long shaitelech are not tzniusdik. unfortanly a lot of people wear skirts that are not long enough. my wife had asked me if there is a shita that holds that the skirts don’t need to cover the knee when sitting down because she see so many women that have such skirts and I told her not that I know of but just because they do it does not mean it is right. with the stockings the litvish hold of a different shita that holds you don’t need to wear them so i can’t complain about that.

I don’t know if it is true but i heard that the Mugen Duvid had some sheichis with Duvid Hamelech so it may be a Jewish symbol but today the Zionists have taken it as their symbol therefore in Satmar we don’t use it.

If you are going to cut your sheitel you should cut it short like the chassidish shaitelech instead of the long litvish shaitelech.
