Im not sure if this counts but there is a midrash that says that each day of creation is correspondant to an era and this era is the fourth day of creation and after year 7000 it will be destroyed and there will be no more people/ worlds. I was never comfortable with that midrash so I dont remember 100%

again check ur vitamin D- coming from north america (im assuming here) u are low in d- having a bit of exposure for your arms face and maybe legs (depending if theyre covered or not and denier of tights) is not enough. Its a simple blood test. Also if ur vit d deficient, ur not absorbing the calcium of which u need 1000 mg daily and that can also be a cause.its worth a try

I am lactose intolerant and cant have any milk products. Some people can have more depending on if and how many enzymes your stomach has to digest the sugar in the milk. Some people can have yogurt because the bacteria found inside of it, can help to digest the sugar. There is also an intolerance to the protein in milk and that would mean that you have a problem with eggs. I found that the lactaid pills did not help me, but its possible that it can help other people. There are also probiotics out there that can help with this issue. I have never tried because most have some sort of dairy product in them and if you have a protein intolerance, it may be an issue. I know someone who took probiotics and now has no problem whatsoever.

Most chassidim only go out once for 45 min with the parents in the next room. The parents do a lot of research before hand and it has to get approval with the rebbe. I know a family where some of the kids only went out a few times and some for longer.- all happily married.

For neatfreak- it is not a good idea to go out night after night but rather to have space in between dates in order to think objectively and be able to ask people who are wiser than you, and not to get caught up with infatuation instead of your true match.

You may be thirsty and not realize it. Your body sends you “hunger” signals and they are really because you are thirsty.

Someone I know was eating by her chassan’s house for the first time, and they spoke yiddish. This girl knew next to nothing and could not understand what was happening. Of course when they spoke to her they talked in English but otherwise her chassan had to translate. Anyhow it was on Friday night, and she was clearing the fish course and serving the soup course. She finishes serving the soup and sits down to eat her own soup. She picks up her spoon and the whole family bursts our laughing, and blabbering in Yiddish and she is just sitting stupefied- what did she do wrong? She does not say anything and later on asks her chassan. He explains- his whole family teases her father for being a lefty. When his father saw his son’s kallah eating her fish, he told him- your kallah is also a lefty. Chassan- she is not, watch by the soup she will eat with her right hand. Sure enough she came in and ate with her right and the whole family started laughing. So she explained that she is ambidextrous, and they all had a good laugh- including the kallah.

I just read the first few comments and felt that a reply was needed. To whoever said, that the boys should mature earlier- hello!!! Girls are bas mitzvah at 12 and boys at 13- there is obviously a reason for it. And physically they mature at an older age than do the girls- there is a reason they are telling the girls to wait- and he did not say to wait until they are older, just till they are 20! That is very reasonable!

You took my comment all wrong! Bzayas Apecha is a curse, what originally was meant to happen was that we would sit and learn torah and bask in the shechinah. The more someone works- an 80 hr work week- the more of the curse he is taking upon himself. The only way to throw off the curse is by sitting and learning. No we should not sit idly, but my point was in reference to whoever said something about bzayas apecha. The ladies by wanting to be equal with men- did indeed take a second curse upon themselves. As for Shayvet Zevulun- once the Klalah was there, they had to work and decided to get Schar for it and to also throw it off as much as possible. I heard this from Chashuve Rabbis- but it is not Halachah L’moshe Misinai- and there are 70! different ways to explain things. If you do not like my explanantion, there are 69 others out there!

For anyone interested- Halachically the sides have to show Hakaras Hatov- this can even be in the form of a thank you note or a gift. There has to be something given- I have heard stories about couples who did not pay their shadchan anything and had trouble having kids.

what someone said about bzayas apecha tochal lechem- this was a curse and the more someone works, the more “curse” they are bringing on themselves. The way to get rid of the curse completely is by learning in kollel. HOWEVER, this is not an option for everyone, only for the “shevat layvi” of today’s times, and those who cannot manage don’t! Your only harming yourself and your husband. There is nothing to be ashamed of if you can’t- just say you want a ben torah who is working. Also, remember that is should not be looked upon as a something you have to do because everyone is doing it, but rather a very special privilege that not everyone can have.
