Wolf – You can eat horribly tasting food that your are garunteed not to have hanah from. And besides I think the whole kovod shabbos is that you *DO* have hanah from the food or the flowers. What good is the flowers if you don’t appreciate it. There would be no purpose in buying flowers lkavod shabbos if you wont be home, right? So I think your whole theory that you cant have pleasure from it is not true.
Maybe you have some stories, why else are you asking?

DY – I as actualy refeing to the firts part of the OP. However I would think that window shopping is also considered shopping in the aspect regarding the owner not minding if you take some sanitizer. Window shopping can leads to possible buyers. Thats why stores have window displays…

Are you asking if looks are important? Well thats up to you – However anything that you do feel is important to you, then it indeed is important, and you should make sure to look for what your looking for.
Just Smile – I am not trying to tell you what to do. Vut I was always wondering if that is permissable, becuase tapes are usualy half the price of the CD’s. I wonder why they are more, definetly not because it costs more to produce, because the production difference is only a few cents. If it is permissable its a good way to save a few bucks.
