January 12, 2012 5:07 pm at 5:07 pm in reply to: Torching Of Brooklyn Cars May Have Been Insurance Scam #842898real-briskerMemberWIY – Thanks for the clarification.
real-briskerMemberBT Guy – Thanks for your efforts, they did it this morning. Look at my SN you will be able to tell from the subtitle.
real-briskerMemberThank you very much mod! I appreciate it greatly.
real-briskerMemberWIY – Yes, I do think misaskim is capable of pulling something of this sort off. Although its not what they do, but they by all means have the capibilaty to pull it off.
real-briskerMemberwiy – Can u arrange it?
real-briskerMemberOne can work where ever they want as long as no Halachos are being compromised on.
real-briskerMemberaries – Thanks! That sounds alot better.
real-briskerMemberthegoq – Chill Out! Maybe you should work on yourself and even though you dont like they way they ask the question, you will deal with it. If this is how the person talks than thats them. If there is something wrong change yourself dont blame it on yenim!
real-briskerMemberMod – i agree with you, so too all other halachic/hashkafa questions that are asked here, are not asked to get an answer, because not one person says the same thing, its amazing!
real-briskerMemberAsk your LOR.
real-briskerMemberI agree with metro, its even worse in lakewood and monsey.
real-briskerMemberI guess we should just close the cr for 3 months!
real-briskerMemberbp – I agree with you, (besides how many people are not lieing)
real-briskerMemberWIY – Did you read my post in the “how old to get a liscence” thread, regarding all the things people are not careful with when they drive, Not just blinkers.
real-briskerMemberwiy – That’s Pshat, very nice!
November 29, 2010 10:26 pm at 10:26 pm in reply to: letting your child get his/her liscence #1164951real-briskerMemberaries – I find it that you only get cut off when you are on the left lane driving to slow, If one follows the pace of the rest of the cars they will not get cut off. Highway driving is not scary and is much safer.
real-briskerMemberWhy do people think its more dangerous to drive on highway than on city roads? I think driving on city streets is much more dangerous, there are more things to watch out for; People running stop signs, red lights, quick sharp turns into you, picking up hitch hikers, pedestrians roaming the streets, bicyclists etc. Whats is there on the highway to be careful about?
real-briskerMemberHelpful – Whats the stirah? They just wont drive the following day.
real-briskerMemberIs there such a thing as a yishevsha girl?
real-briskerMemberWhat do you mean by *reponsible*; Do you mean by entrusting them to be independent (where they go, what they do). Or responsible with a car, and the road? For either not before 17.
real-briskerMemberHARMFUL
real-briskerMemberpba – I guess in paterson they only learn hintega achronim?!
real-briskerMemberMy up-titsche of MY is; A gur yishevsha guy that knows how to use all types of modern technologies, like a computer, mp3 player etc.
real-briskerMemberDonating to a Yeshiva would be your most affective donation.
real-briskerMemberpba – What do you have with paterson?
real-briskerMembertanta – Whats your point?
real-briskerMember*Rabbi* Is not a chosuva title these days anymore. Every “Tom Dick and Harry” that learns in kolel has the title “Rabbi”, Why? – I’m not sure, but it doesn’t have the same chashivus as it used to.
real-briskerMemberdave hirsch – I was wondering the same thing too.
real-briskerMemberpba – Did you take into consideration how many children maybe wouldn’t have had problems with speech, dislexia etc. and could have avoided all the tutoring and therapy if they just would have learned to talk correctly?
real-briskerMemberpba – You never know how long it would have taken a child to start talking normal.
real-briskerMemberKapusta – I would not stick the word *modern* into working yeshivish. It has no shaychis.
real-briskerMemberkapusta – So dont mix it up with modern yishivish, it doesnt belong in this thread.
real-briskerMemberhow about we give tuna ideas what to write about, and stop worrying about everything else!
real-briskerMemberkapusta – So working is what makes him *modern*? Oy Nebach
real-briskerMemberwiy – Yup, Do you not agree with talking normal to the non english speaking people? Why not?
real-briskerMemberwiy – Not bad!
real-briskerMemberwiy – Thats 100% true, many people don’t realize it, and are realy harming the people they are *trying to make feel good* and these people chap that they are being treated as a *neb* that needs chizuk.
real-briskerMemberwiy – not everything is a secret
real-briskerMemberwhat that guy turend into a tunabagel
real-briskerMemberdovvs and backinaction’s song lol!
real-briskerMembersmartcookie -No the word should be pronunced crib, not cwiby or criby.
real-briskerMemberPoster – C’mon, You think its normal to say, “i put the baby in the criby with a passy and a botti to go shlufy, and i covered her with a blanky. Please!
November 24, 2010 1:49 pm at 1:49 pm in reply to: Some important Halachos of Tefillah and pronunciation #1145684real-briskerMemberYW Band – Yes that is a big issue, I dont think I was ever in a minyan in a vishnitz’a shul where they said tachnun! I think they skip it cause there is always some sort of rebbes yartzhiet or who knows why!
real-briskerMembersmartcookie – you are 100% right, but there are alot of people that are not aware of this. I think doctors should advise parents about this.
real-briskerMemberwhat is a good definition for lumdish and eiluyish?
real-briskerMemberfrumlady – Dont feel lonely its not just you, Its alot of people.
real-briskerMemberwag – You are correct that it should be only said once not repeatedly, and if done more than once its called OCD, However kriyas shema is a dioraysa, and its very important to get the correct pronounciation of every single word, Now there are words that are easier and less complex to pronounce than others. Shema for example, there is no “nun” or “gimmel” in it however when you prononuce the “ayin” corectly it sounds like shemang. The same applies to Tizkiru there is a stress on the zayin so it sound like tizskiru. I agree that there is no need to go overboard.
