I’d definitely suggest that your son speak to his rebbe regarding what he thinks. Rebbeim, especially 12th grade rebbeim, know what the options are and, more importantly, what might be a good option for your son.
As for my suggestion, I know of some guys who went from yesodei to orach chaim and did very well. I know nothing of your son, though.
on the google maps app, you can tap insert coin on the menu and it’ll bring you to a page that’ll tell you where you can play. On computer you can play on pretty much any location by clicking on the blue and black pac man box in the bottom left corner, you can’t miss it
