idef understand how u feel.. its SO hard 2 be a girl esp during purim time and simchas torah when the guys r havin a blast and us grls arent.. so this yr i rly tried to hav fun and me and my frends went around to the nursing homes and cheered em up!! but i also wana get drunk and hav crazy purim seudos!! trust me ur not alone.. 🙂

girls have to cover a lot and there are diff recquirements for everything. some have to be covered and cannot be too tight (ex legs, stomache..) and some have to be covered but can be as tight as u want (ex arms)and thats why shells can be skin tight cuz only has to be covered not loose.. and some can be tight and transparent but should be covered (legs below knee).. got it? if u want more info read rabbi falks book.. its RLLY machimir on e/t but has the right ideals and approaches for a torah jew..

the halacha is that u must cover below the ankle. its a chumra for between ankle and knee. therefore, why wud leggings help anything? ur feet below ur ankles not covered and thats the main point. also the portion bet ur knee and ankle is allowed to be skin tight.. ever heard of baggy tights? not rlly..
what makes TAG a BY school is their hashkafa. they follow the torah in respect to tznius, middos, and they follow the guide of rabbanim…theyr uniform is refined and tznius too.. and btw i dont think all the hebrew teachers are rabbi/rebbetzin.. def not rebbetzin..
also in my high school, ttly BY, i dont think a single teacher is rebbetzin title.. bt the few men teachers r all def rabbi..

theres a concept known as “minhag hamakom”.. that means if ur in a place such as tennessee u dont need to be machmir and cover ur legs.. but in flatbush u wud need to.. for ex in camp i wear ankle sox but in the city wouldnt..

there are girls like that in every by skl.. as for having an iphone and showing ur legs- she still keeps the torah 100%.. ppl r just machmir and cover bet ankles and knees.. also ur allowed 2 wear color acc to the torah, just not flashy and red.. 🙂

in my circles, which is noot modox by far, there are always mixed shmorgs.. gets to be quite an issue when theres guys who dates girls meeting by a shmorg!! even if they dont say a word, still mighty akward.. esp if they were dating seriously and have to at least acknolodge each other!!

btw every yr my fam makes sure 2 giv to certain ppl on my block who rlly need it.. for ex there are like 2 jewish men on my block who married spanish women and now have nonjewish kids.. so we always giv to them and they allwaayys appreciate!! huge kiddush hashem!!
