postsemgirlMember
My father always used to tell me for a joke that I better behave or he could sell me.
postsemgirlMembernoitallmr- I am in shidduchim. I just ask my brothers-in-law about if the yeshiva is normal. I try not to get into it.
postsemgirlMemberPutting ice packs on your cheeks really helps. I got all four out at once. I didn’t have so much pain or problems but ice packs do help. The doctor gave me something for the pain but I think regular painkillers would work. Refuah Shilaima.
postsemgirlMemberBein hasdorim- I thought he wasn’t really acting Rosh Yeshiva because he isn’t feeling well. Anyway I don’t know much about Yeshivos.
postsemgirlMemberThank you! Baruch Hashem our teacher let us out early!
postsemgirlMemberWhat is the story with Rabbi Finkle? Is he the rosh yeshiva or not?
postsemgirlMemberThank you! Refuah Shilaima! It’s good to see that someone takes their learning seriously.
I’m in class learning accounting. I would also go crazy without the CR!
postsemgirlMemberbein hasdorim and nobody, Thank you!
nobody- don’t worry, no one rememberd my birthday. My brother called me to ask me something else and I said don’t you want to tell me something and he said no. I guess I have to wait till I get married and my husband will remember.
bein hasdorim- do you really only go on the internet during bein hasdorim?
postsemgirlMemberThank you BY2.
Happy Birthday Nobody!!
postsemgirlMembersometimes when I rub my eyes when my lenses are in, they go up and I have to smush my eye in order to get them back. The first time it was scary, but then I got used to it. I always nap on Shabbos with my contact in. It’s not a big deal. They are just a little bit dry when I wake up but it goes away after a while. I used to take them out every time I took a shower but then I got used to wearing them in the shower. Swimming I also do with my lenses in because I am a lifeguard and I kinda need to see what I’m doing.
postsemgirlMemberThank you Kapusta, I can only try, and Mepal! I hope that you are all zoche to have Hashem answer all your tefilos for the good!
postsemgirlMemberAmen thank you!
postsemgirlMemberTonight and tomorrow is my birthday! Happy Birthday to me! Brachos are welcome!
postsemgirlMemberI always felt unatached to the people in the Holocaust. When I was little I read all the war diaries but other then that I really have no connection. It’s really sad. I guess I’m what you can call a real yankee doodle. I don’t know how I would be able to connect to these people. Any ideas?
postsemgirlMemberIm eating my erev Shabbos chulent and thinking about everyone here in the CR. Have a good Shabbos!
postsemgirlMembermepal- aw so nice.
postsemgirlMemberchulent with coffee? Sorry it doesn’t go.
postsemgirlMembermepal- good
postsemgirlMemberHappy Birthay Moish! That’s exciting that you are a legal driver now. I remember when that happened to me. Enjoy!
postsemgirlMemberDear mods, thanks so much for updating so quickly!
postsemgirlMemberHello any out of towners here?
postsemgirlMemberI guess so because it was really a strange feeling
postsemgirlMemberaob- there are always individuals
jax- I think we were in 10th grade
I’m not saying NYers are bad because all my cousins are NYers and I love them and they are not bad. It’s just that there is a different mentality. That’s it. I didn’t mean to offend anyone. Each place has their maalos and chisronos so the place I live also has them. I guess it takes an out of towner to understand what I am saying.
postsemgirlMembermepal- wow ego alert! Do you really believe that New York is the center of the world and that all out of towners live on farms and milk cows for Cholov Yisroel milk? People can be so ignorant. When I was in camp someone in my bunk from Flatbush told me that I have to give my passport into the office. So I said I live in
so she said yea but don’t you have to leave the country for that since it’s not in New York? That is pathetic!postsemgirlMemberThe weirdest thing happened to me last Shabbos. I was sitting by the Shabbos seuda and I was telling my mother how it’s so sad that people don’t keep Shabbos that they don’t even know that they are Jewish or they don’t even know about Shabbos. Then I started crying and I couldn’t stop myself. I am not that type of person. It was like someone else was talking in me and I couldn’t stop crying. I was just thinking about how happy and proud I am to be a Jew and that it’s so sad that these people are not part of our special nation. It’s quite sad.
Anyway, since we are so special it’s so much more sad that these people don’t have what we have even though it is theirs like it is mine.
postsemgirlMembernoitallmr- I guess your not no it all mr. It’s not anyone’s fault it’s just that nyers think differently then us outa towners. It effects their behaivor. do you know what I mean?
postsemgirlMemberJax- that’s so sweet but it’s not individuals it’s the whole mentality. Sorry but I don’t think it could be changed.
postsemgirlMemberI am NOT a new yorker and I’m very proud of it.
postsemgirlMembernoitallmr- yup you got it.
aob- tsk tsk I can’t believe it.
jax- can’t really agree with you on that. sorry.
postsemgirlMemberwho says it’s a fact?
postsemgirlMemberjoseph- what do you have against new yorkers? (no i am not one but i have new york genes)
postsemgirlMemberaob- true true, but chulent expecially! agreed?
postsemgirlMemberchulent is ONLY good with fresh coke that is not flat!
postsemgirlMemberOh no Jax did I miss your party? You didn’t tell me your address. Just kidding!
postsemgirlMemberjustsmile-
“Tipish kill the radio”
pow pow pow
“Next time please use the switch”
postsemgirlMemberJax- Yay! So excited!
postsemgirlMemberanybody remember Torah Zoo?
“My phone’s dead!”
“Should I send the Kohanim out of the building?”
“Be quiet be quiet! I bet you think this is your lucky break. Wrong! Your luck is running out I’m driving you home!”
postsemgirlMemberjax- am I invited?
postsemgirlMemberI was traveling on Continental to Eretz yisroel and I was sitting in the middle of a group of missionaries- don’t ask- and there were many Chassidim on the flight. They got up to daven and the flight attendent asked everyone to sit down because of turbulence and they didn’t because they were in middle of davening. The missionaries, who knew I was Jewish, asked me questions and started mocking and making fun of the Chassidim. It’s one thing to ask questions but it’s another thing to make fun and make
the whole plane be upset.
I think it was a big chillul Hashem. I don’t know but I think they were wrong. I don’t think you have to daven with a minyan if it’s going to cause the whole plane to be angry at you and a big chillul Hashem. I could be wrong.
Anybody?
postsemgirlMemberames- his name is Professor Doubbletalk not Dumbledore because when he talks he says everything twice. “Hello Hello how can I help you in what way can I be of assistance to you….goodbye have a nice day aruvwa(I spelled that wrong)…”
postsemgirlMemberWhen my sisters used to get on my nerves I used to say The Golden Crown. I know the whole thing by heart! That would be enought to stop them. I love those tapes.
postsemgirlMemberjax- can’t wait. see you tonight. lol. My mother puts up the chulent on friday morning and every Shabbos she is surprised to see that there is only half a chulent left. I eat it all Friday.
postsemgirlMembertzippi- In tzinus everyone has their sensitivites and no one is able to say what sensitivity you are suppose to have the same as no one can tell you what your sensitivity should be to music.
postsemgirlMemberNoitallmr- Thanks.
Moish- totaly.
postsemgirlMembernitallmr- I think it’s like that with everything like tznius also. Everyone is on their own level and he/she should decide what is on his/her level and always try to grow higher.
postsemgirlMemberkspusta- I don’t like bagel and lox
ames- I don’t think so. Chulent is just really really good
postsemgirlMemberI think that it’s really funny that so many people (including me) like chulent very very much!
postsemgirlMembermoish- chulent and kugel are very important
postsemgirlMemberanonymisss- I 2nd that. Also because I’m not in the same time zone as New York/Jersey so I stay up later
postsemgirlMemberThe title is kinda funny. Aren’t all halachos important?
