A school is allowed to set rules to keep teh girls on track. If you go to a certain school you have to follow their rules. I dont think a girl should have such an impossible time getting off of facebook. Apparently, this causes lots of harm.

I wore the uniform of the school when I taught 5th grade, the girls found it hysterical. I wore a pony and a sweatshirt.

Recess time all the teachers jumped rope in the hallway, for that age this was perfect. These kids think teachers are inhuman whatever you do is funny even if its not creative.

For 8th graders you need to be shticky.

I have a friend that went to a chasidishe school and then wanted to go to sem in EY. When she went for the interview that principal was shocked at how this girl knew more than the BY type aplicant.

I think there is a misunderstanding about the education in chasidishe schools.

Ask your doctor if you can add it to a drink. In a drink with a lot of flavor like ice tea you wont be able to taste the medicine. I once did that with a vitiamin I had to take which I procrastinated taking because of the flavor.

Nechomah, since you’re experienced maybe you can help me.

My sons teacher said that he would not use her bathroom. He held himself in until he came home. Is that normal? What can I do. She said he told her he needs to go, and then when he got to the bathroom he shyed away. She said all the kids use the bathroom so she couldnt figure out why he refused.

I suggest you buy it in a Jewish store cuz u could have many shabbos issues. My sister just bought a beautiful GE refrigerator that had great rating. She got a great price online. Then someone notified her of the shabbos issue so she called a frum appliance repair guy and he told her that there is no way to avert this problem and no frum retailer would’ve sold this to her.

She ended up returning that one and going into a frum owned appliance store in Boro Park and got a Kitchenaid.

I also beshowed. Though we had three beshows and for about 1 1/2 each. I was very excited to get married since our beshows went well and we heard such wonderful things about my prospective chosson. However, when I hear about girls that are crazy over their chossonim, that cant wait to speak on the phone, or that say they got everything they dreamed of plus more, I can honestly say that I didnt feel that way when I got engaged. I was excited to get to know my chosson better.

Having married a chasidishe boy and not coming from a chassidishe background, the technical differences are:

    1) Tisch – Friday night after the meal the men go to the rebbe

    2) We follow one direction, we have one dayan, specific minhagim, there is no wishy washy…

    3) My husband goes to the mikvah every morning (what does that mean to me? lost towels!;) )

    4) Levush

    5) speaks to our children in Yiddish

    6) My husband doesnt have conversations with females other than family. He will not strike up a conversation with my friend or neighbor.

In other aspects, the fact that my husband is very warm, sings loads of zmiros etc. I dont know if this is bec he is chassidish, I am sure there are vareme litvaks too.

A Swiss guy, looking for directions, pulls up at a bus stop where two Englishmen are waiting.

“Entschuldigung Sie Bitte, koennen Sie Deutsch sprechen?” he says.

The two Englishmen just stare at him.

    “Excusez-moi, parlez vous Francais?”

    The two continue to stare.

    “Parlare Italiano?” No response.

    “Hablan ustedes Espanol?” Still nothing.

The Swiss guy drives off, extremely disgusted and frustrated.

The first Englishman turns to the second and says, “Y’know, maybe we should learn a foreign language…”

“Why?” says the other, “That guy knew four languages, and that didn’t do him any good!”

There was this Yid from Brooklyn who decided to go to Russia for a visit. Why not? Must be an interesting place. However when he tried to do some business in the black-market. He was quickly arrested by the police and imprisoned.

When he was brought before the judge, he was informed that doing business with the black market was a terrible crime to society, since the people suffer from the inability of the government to collect taxes and the punishment was well known, death.

Although the Yid protested that he was a foreigner, his protest fell on deaf ears. The judge refused to reduce the sentence.

“The government is trying to stamp out the black market. We have no mercy on people who come here and disregard our laws. However, since you are a foreigner, and we do want to encourage foreigners to come here as tourists and to do business, legally, of course. We want to show the world that the Russian legal system has mercy. Therefore we will allow you three wishes. Any thing that you desire, just ask and you shall be granted them. The only condition is that you can not request to commute your death sentence. After your three wishes have been granted, you will have to pay for your crime.”

“O.K., if that is what I have left to do with my life, my first request is to go skiing in the Carpathian mountains.”

“What?” the judge remarked, “skiing? This is the summer! There isn’t any snow now!”

“Well,” the Yid answered, folding his arms across his chest, “I’m prepared to wait. Because that’s my first wish”

“Let it be so!” The judge banged his gavel on the desk and called the police. “When the snow falls on the Carpathian Mountains, you are to fetch this Yid and let him ski to his hearts content, from sunrise until sunset. Afterwards he is to be brought to me to complete his sentencing.”

Six months later the police came to the man’s house and took him up to the most beautiful ski resort high up on the Carpathian Mountains. The Yid skied all day and after night fall the police whisked him to the judge.

“All right, the state has granted your first wish. What is your second wish?”

“Well, I always wanted to swim in the Black Sea. That is my second request.”

“What?! The Black Sea is frozen. It’s winter now!”

“Well,” the Yid answered, “I’m prepared to wait.”

“O.K.,” The judge said banging down his gavel, “the police will come to you on a beautiful summer’s day and escort you to the ocean where you will swim to your hearts content from sun rise until sunset. Then you will be brought here to complete the sentencing.”

On a beautiful summer’s day, the police came to the man’s house and took him to the nicest resort area on the Black Sea. The Yid swam and swam the entire day and then after sunfall, was ushered in front of the judge.

“The state has kept it’s word. Now you may have your last wish, after which you will be executed! What is it?”

“Well,” the Yid began, “nothing could please me more than to be buried in a cemetery along side of you.”

“What?” the judge said, “but I’m not dead yet. How could we do that?”

“I don’t know, but I’m prepared to wait”

We called Chaveirim, they came in a just a couple of minutes and in no time they figured out the problem. AMAZING! (something like the steering wheel being locked…)

With a wall unit you have a through the wall, in which you need a wall sleeve or if your wall is less than 8 inches deep you can go with a slide out unit.

We use Aj Madison for our appliance needs in brooklyn on 38th street. They have a trailer outside their store stocked with air conditioners, so I am sure there is one for you.

You also need to keep voltage in mind, so I suggest you speak to a professional, lest you order the wrong thing.
