You can wear a snood and look like a shluch and you can wear a snood and look put together. It is not the snood that does it. Nothing happens if u put on a little makeup and clean fresh clothing that fits nicely.
Personally, I used to work in an office and there was a dress code. Somehow your actions and speech reflect it.

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: “I am blind, please help.” There were only a few coins in the hat. A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words. Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, “Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?” The man said, “I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way.” I wrote: “Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it.” Both signs told people that the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people that they were so blessed that they were not blind.

Sacrilege, there is another term for settling – “thinking out of the box”. At a young age pple want to marry the picture they have in their mind. At a certain age pple “settle” – doesnt mean they marry a ________. Settling can be marrying someone more/less chasidish/yeshivish than you originally had in mind.
The best pple to call for info is to find s/o that knows both of you. this way u can trust their info. I got a call and the lady asked me if the girl is aidel, frum, fine… I wanted to tell her u dont know me so how can u trust what i consider aidel, frum, with it etc….

Get to know pricings, don’t just buy. I know the price of mayo, milk, eggs all the basics so I know when I see a good deal. I am the type that will do my grocery shopping in 3 diff stores to save. Pple say they dont have time etc. it doesnt take much longer if you go with a car and good attitude.

Wanna lose weight fast? Dont eat at night. U almost dont have to diet, if you dont eat past 7 thats a diet.
