Hire a doula!
Interview a few to find someone who you are comfortable with and who shares your goals for the birth. Worth every penny! Statistics show births with doulas have fewer complications, fewer c-sections, and more positive memories.

There are a lot of intelligent, educated, worldly people in the CR. It surprises me that after a week, no one has commented on this statement.
Whether said seriously or not, this is how hatred is spread.
picture thisParticipantMaybe my husband’s car is only partly yeshivish – the radio works until you turn on the lights.
It’s diesel and vibrates like crazy. You bounce up and down at a red light. I think if I bring a jar of cream with me when I go for a drive it would turn to butter by the time I got home!

I have a Moose Knuckles coat and it kept me warm at -40 in the wind when I lived in Canada.
picture thisParticipantMy husband’s car is from 1984! Not going to do the age calculation for you (lol). Drive always works, but we never know if we’ll have reverse or park.
picture thisParticipantI once had a van that was held together with duct tape. I kept a roll in the glove compartment so that when a piece of the vehicle fell off, I could get out and tape it back on. Then one day while I was driving, the glove compartment fell out, too!
picture thisParticipantRabbi Ashear said you are allowed to daven for nissim on Chanukah. (Don’t know the source he used.)

My son is color-blind. One day, when he was around 4 years old, there was screaming coming from his room. I ran in to find him staring at a cut on his arm. He said “Mommy, I’m bleeding GREEN!”
picture thisParticipantThere are some very detailed Seforim on ribbis, if that interests you.
Sorry, I don’t have author or publisher info in front of me.

Look for natural products that list the ingredients, such as essential oils.

A Rabbi usually answers right away, otherwise you get called back promptly.Halachah Institute of Toronto: 416-535-8008
There is often a Rabbi manning the phone, otherwise you can leave a message and have your call returned within a few hours. -
