I don’t know too much about Judaism but I don’t believe being motzi someone works with shlichus. vharaya it only works if they’re obligated. if its shlichaus it shouldn’t make a difference.

@laskern don’t know if you’ve checked the news in the past decade. liberalism is far from treating everyone equally. it’s about treating perverts equally and coercing others to do their will . perverts = hey it’s a free country. they can do what they want. bakers = so do what the perverts want.

you really should make a Bris. find a frum doctor whom you trust and ask his recommendation for a proper and healthy circumcision. possibly he will do it himself. there’s really nothing to be scared of. hashem takes care of those performing mitzvos and no harm will befall the baby.

I had been planning on posting this for some time, I just needed the time for it:

If we’re to take all the facts we were told when the vaccine was 1st introduced, the the vaccine was the absolutely WORST way to deal with corona. (some have since changed but that doesn’t excuse the rollout when they were assuming these facts):

    1. Those vaccinated can still transmit, though they’ll be asymptomatic.
    2. We will never reach herd immunity.
    3. Antibodies from the vaccine will wear off after 8 months (I think they had a dif number originally)
    4. Even those vaccinated might (5-10% chance) die from Covid.

What follows is an endless pattern of people getting vaccinated, infecting everyone else unwittingly, more asymptomatic (vaccinated) people catching it and infecting it….what follows is everyone must get vaccinated forever every few months, sick and old people have no hope of ever leaving their house safely ever again, masks will become a permanent structure…….of what help is this insanity? It doesn’t even completley protect those vaccinated, so this is pure insanity.

I don’t get the “it causes inflation” argument. of course it will cause inflation. what’s so terrible? in essence they want to even the playing 6field between those who worked during the pandemic–essential workers–and those that didn’t. the easiest way to do it is to print money and give it to everyone. the decrease in value of the dollar is a replacement of the tax they otherwise would have taken from the working class to give to the unemployed.

not commenting on whether it’s moral, well thought out, or anything else. just that I don’t see the inflation argument.

    confusing.

“ok looks like you cleared it out” not sure what my pesach cleaning has to do with anything, but based on the next few lines it sounds like you’re clarifying that you don’t really think corona has brains, an interpretation further supported by your next post, but then you write “the more chances…the higher chance that it will mutate to avoid vaccines,” which sounds like you do think it can choose to mutate to avoid vaccines.

whatever you personally think-clarify if you wish-there are certainly people who think corona and bacteria can choose to mutate. ywn had an article some time ago quoting Israeli health minister that the vaccine will cause mutations. I’ve heard it many more times as well.

hogwash. the vaccine doesn’t increase a chance of a mutation. it increases non-mutations’ demise but the probability of a mutation occurring not only doesn’t increase, it actually decreases. fewer original corona cells means fewer opportunities for the occurrence of a mutation.

I’ve heard this theory about antibacterial resistant bacteria. what I assume you agree with, that the use of these antibacterials just will lead to bacteria who can survive antibacterials.

pure nonsense, as far as my biology knowledge goes. no challenge causes a mutation. rather, challenges kill off those which don’t mutate. neither bacteria nor corona has the brains to know to mutate. if there is a mutation-stronger3bacteria or corona-they will survive. hence it’s ridiculous to say using antibacterials will prompt a mutation or that corona will naturally mutate to resist young immune systems.

1st off, thread title is inaccurate. it’s a question, not explainer.

2nd, here are 2 articles from home page: 1 – Israel fears s African variant out of ctrl . but the vaccine, though less effective, is still 90% effective, so why’s this a big deal?

2 – twenty senior citizens, all vaccinated, test positive for covid.
sounds scary–til you read that NONE had symptoms. so what is this? fear mongering?

can someone explain to me what in heaven’s name trump is scared of? if he’d ask my advice I’d tell him to ignore the whole thing, maybe sleep thru the trial. many
senators think it’s illegal to impeach and will have to acquit. many more will understand the arguments for his innocence without lawyers spelling it out for them. I really thought lawyers were only needed for stupid jurors and for legal technicalities, none of which apply here. instead, trump has 2 lawyers. what gives?

scientists have lost all credibility in this area. for twenty years we were doomed for the ice age then in the 90s it became global warming and a few years ago it got changed to climate change, a scary word for ‘weather’.

the whole green movement is pushed by the huge green industry, thanks to al gore who had to stay relevant after he lost the election.
