i stopped by there to purchase items for Shabbos. Very clean and well organized. The staff were extremely nice and assisted me in everything I needed. They also have free coffee and gave out balloons to the kids. Very satisfied.

Perhaps look into one of these new charter schools. Its better to be in a public school with themes reflecting Jewish culture than be in a public school that is totally secular.
So when voting for the next President of the United States, I should disregard every position he has except the “…money that is supporting learning…” because it “…takes precidence over all other political matters.” Guess that made life a little easier…

I agree its a bigger chillul Hashem. But at the same time, must we lie about who commits it? Maybe you should start a campaign to not describe criminals or those who commit unlawful acts in the media. Its only going to say “Human did X…” or something like that.

Right, I forgot its automatically considered “geshmius” when I want to purchase something of highter quality and value. Why shop at clothing stores at all? Maybe I should just go to Salvation Army instead because to you I am just rolling in the “geshmius.”
I do not see the big deal. They committed a crime and must face the consequences or their actions. It does not matter whether they are yeshiva bochurim or eskimo hunters.

Yes there is more than meets the eye concerning the knife. While it may resemble a simple blade, it can contain the essence of what it was previously used for. If the knife is used to cut meat and ten minutes later its used for cheesecake, don’t you think that is a problem?
I have also experienced the blue variety. I wonder what other colors there are? (Besides the original red of course)

Depends how it is prepared. In case the knife is used for fish, meat, or other such products then it is certainly not permissible. I recall the fish store in my old neighborhood was owned by a gentile. He has a special knife for kosher fish and that is where we, along with many other families, bought fish from. But IMHO you have got to do a thorough investigation before buying from such a store.
