February 1, 2012 8:41 pm at 8:41 pm in reply to: How much does it cost to support for a year? #853865onlytruthMemberIt’s a big problem! because these days boys that work tend to be a very different type than boys that learn (yeshivish wise)…so what is a girl supposed to do if she is on the level of marrying a learning boy but her parents don’t have money to support her???
onlytruthMemberThanks yungerman1, I’ll make sure to find out.
Bpt-I wanted to do something besides for that.. 🙂
onlytruthMemberhaving been through a broken engagement…I found keeping busy is very helpful…I don’t think its possible to completely forget about him, because random things will remind you about him…Hatzlacha Rabba!!
onlytruthMemberI definitly agree. Jews may not have a jewish state in galus. For some reason it’s not an enough spoken about topic!
onlytruthMemberYes, I did go through one myself. I was wondering how others dealt with it.
onlytruthMemberI know someone an older single girl that organizes trip for 5-6 girls at a time. She takes them to the Poconos I think. Where do you live deedeeluver?
onlytruthMemberI have the same issue. No one to do anything FUN with. Friends are married others are not the type to do FUN things… 🙁
onlytruthMemberI think Neturei Karte do have valid points sometimes. It’s just the way they attempt to get it across is way too extreme!!!!
onlytruthMemberI wouldn’t really recommend it, because we didn’t have enough individual attention, which I feel is very important to learn hair and shaitels. They hardly taught blowing which is like kind of the main thing. If you want to learn shaitles washing, blowing etc… I think Udele Rothman gives one on one courses.
onlytruthMemberI took the intensive hair and wig course, when they did it in Monsey recently.
onlytruthMemberThis thread is great! Keep it going!!
