Hmmm…sorry, didn’t realize you were on ADHD meds in my comments earlier. So you should definitely talk to the doctor that prescribed you that stat. Like, call him or something.

Abusing cold drugs will probably do less damage than you are doing right now…take Tylenol PM or something–that stuff won’t affect you adversely unless you take too much of it.

Is one of the side effects of ADHD medication sleep disruption?

I’ve tried coffee with all sorts of stuff in it. I don’t even like coffee-flavored cakes and chocolates (SACRILEGE).

And I don’t get how people like yogurt–it mamish tastes spoiled. Maybe you guys like spoiled milk, fish, etc. too? XP

    WIY:

Why would you ask for something you cant get? Wish for a white horse at least its real lol.

Whyever would I want a white horse? How useless. 😛

No healthy male likes being criticized and put down by their spouse so if you want to find a good husband you need to work on this area.

Correction: No human being likes to be criticized. Healthy human beings are able to take criticism. (And if you think that being male entitles you to reject all criticism, then you have another think coming.)

I agree that putting someone down with your criticism is unacceptable. And haifagirl’s criticism is sometimes a little strong. But seeing as you feel fit to include intrusive comments about her personal life in your criticism of her, you really have no right to talk.

You know, I’ve actually tried to drink it so many times–heaven knows I could have used it–but it’s just one thing I literally cannot swallow (the other thing being yogurt, but I can swallow that with a moderate amount of gagging). hm

snowbunny, I am certain that any decent doctor will hone in on the obvious disruption of your sleeping habits and not some neurological disorder. And the only thing that will help that is actual sleep, and trying to gradually work your way to regular sleeping habits. But most importantly getting the desired amount of sleep every 24 hour period, regardless of when.

If you really are having trouble sleeping, I would tell you to tell everyone not to disturb you during your break, and let your roommates know not to turn on the light/make noise then.

snowbunny3318: Have you developed bad sleeping habits previously? It took me a full year to readjust my circadian rhythms after seminary. If that’s the case, then I don’t think fancy drugs and etc. will help. I sort of just braved through it (with some abuse of caffeine pills and cold meds :P).

My advice: Don’t try and force yourself to sleep at prescribed times. If you are really having trouble, you are going to have to ease yourself into it. Take naps during the day if it helps, and try to slowly get yourself into a normal schedule.

How do you know they didn’t learn math? And putting the actual learning aside– what about making the most out of every opportunity Hashem gives you? He might not care if you got 100s on all your tests, but maybe He does care about how you dealt with the situations He put you in (not to mention how your parents and mechanchim feel about the money and effort they are investing in you).

Also, if you continued your math classes, you would learn how mathematical principles are of utmost importance in all fields of investigative study–including earth science.
