Lets use this opportunity to thank the YW Editor and all the great staff for the wonderful job they’re doing in providing such an amazing Heimisher service!

YW looks great on it! Works really fast literally opens up at the click of the mouse! No need to adjust anything but it would be a good idea if you can put the coffee room home page in a larger font. By the way I’ve noticed that you post the posts much faster now, keep it up!

Thanks a lot for the best Jewish Website on earth…

The Yeshivos are very similar and they are both perfect for him. He’s a good boy and his Chevra are going to both. Is it better to stay local or not?

Hangout??? Not a chance it won’t turn Treif. However many good thoughts are put in to the project and supervision even, eventually things will happen and you all know what I mean.

Instead of creating a hangout, establish a yeshiva with half day working towards a career or something positive to let teenagers have an outlet but to make an establishment to kill time??? Never!

ELUL RABOISAI…This is the time where we have to appreciate the gap Bein Yisrael Le’amim and to show Hashem how different we are from the Goyim. Please lets not live Shtusim but focus on how to become closer to Hashem…

This was written by a black gentleman in Texas and is so funny. What a great sense of humor and creativity!!

    When I born, I BL ACK ,

    When I grow up, I BLACK ,

When I go in sun, I BLACK ,

    When I cold, I BLACK ,

    When I scared, I BLACK ,

    When I sick, I BLACK ,

And when I die, I still BLACK .

    You white folks….

When you born, you PINK ,

When you grow up, you WHITE ,

When you go in sun, you RED ,

When you cold, you BLUE ,

When you scared, you YELLOW ,

When you sick, you GREEN ,

When you bruised, you PURPLE ,

And when you die, you GRAY .

So who you callin’ colored folks?

I think that there’s no problem whatsoever in wearing whatever color crocs you want simply because most of the people wearing bright colors are not wearing to attract rather that is the colors girls like. But i agree boys should not wear colored crocs, not als Beged Isha but it’s not a yeshivish thing to do (im talking about older boys of course).

Terrific Story….It is very well known that at a person’s hardest Nisyonos, if he/she overcomes them, Bracha and Hatzlocho will pour down onto him/her from the Heavens.

I once heard that when a person is faced with a Nisayon then there is a lot happening “upstairs”. Both the Malachim who defend a person and Malachim that are Mekatrug (prosecutors) are there watching every move you do. If Chas Vesholom one fails and looks at the pritzus etc. then the prosecutors rejoice and tell Hashem is this person not worthy of a punishment in Olom Hazeh for his misdeeds? And if the person succeeds then the Defending Malachim say to Hashem, this is truly your chosen people. This is such a Kiddush Hashem in Shomayim that a person may ask for whatever one wishes and it’s almost guaranteed that they’ll be listened to. So just remember this for the next time you have that Nisayon where the choice is either a second of superficial pleasure or eternal glory, then choose!

    Hatzlocho Rabbah.

    “special blog just for youngsters”

Youngsters should keep far away from the net…period!

I believe that if a person gives the net to his kid in any way, he is slipping them poison and has a din of a Shofech Domim.

    Re: lgbg

Its a bit different then having steak for supper which is a personal thing hidden in your home. But going on expensive holidays is like having an expensive car which is showy. I know of many wealthy people that can’t bring themselves to buy a Lexus because a person who doesn’t have money looks at it and thinks that that money he used for a luxury, I need for necessities. Isn’t a luxury holiday the same thing?

“who took non-Jewish songs and were able to transform them”

A goyshe song is a goyshe song period. To put holy pesukim into a nigun which was originally sung by a shmutzdiker goy is terrible. But you have to warn the public where it came from and not lie that is was composed by a yid.

rabbiofberlin- I get goosepimples when I see the Pritzus that goes on at a MT. Very nice when the Rebbes are there and all that but nowadays everyone who Halt Fun Zich a shtickl chassidish is making a Mitzvah Tantz and for a choson and kala to hold hands and dance in public and you not seeing a reason why its wrong is very interesting…

“studies show its one of the easiest addictions to break”

I don’t know what studies you’re studying but to the extent of my knowledge it most defiantly isn’t easy as any addicted smoker who has tried quitting will tell you.

And by the way, is one or two cigarettes a week also unhealthy or only if you’re smoking a good pack a day?

    Re: irhakodesh

SHAYCHAS???? Just because Hashem will answer our teffilos becuase he’s a Kel Molei Rachamim, we should at least give Hashem the respect He deserves and come to Davening wearing appropriate clothing. Since Crocs are nowadays B’geder shoes, I don’t see anything very wrong with them.

But again you have to be Don Lecaf Zchus, I am wearing crocs right now because i have an oversized bandage on my toe- I get quite a few comments but I don’t give because I know I’m doing the right thing.

So instead of busying yourself with everyone elses clothes during davening, take care of yourself, do what you think is right and Hashem should answer all our Teffilos.
