I’m not sure exactly how I can share it. Any ideas?
NJ_MomMemberI’m so sorry but I totally forgot about this and now that I was cleaning my drawers out for Pesach, found the family tree! Do you want to see it?
NJ_MomMemberHow about Psagot?
NJ_MomMemberHow about Yikvei Zion? They have fabulous wines.
NJ_MomMemberMy husband is a descendant of the Chasan Sofer. We have a detailed family tree going back a few generations. If I remember tonight, and if I can actually find it, I’ll try to look to see if it has any information that might help you.
NJ_MomMemberI was just at my dermatologist who suggested I go on Accutane. I’m still debating whether I should go for it or not. Over the past 20-25 years I’ve tried several other remedies to no avail. I’ve never had acne; just pimples. Now I have cystic acne, I’m 40 and seriously considering it. What do you think? Should I do it?
NJ_MomMemberI did because my name starts with an S.
January 14, 2013 5:15 pm at 5:15 pm in reply to: Fertility concerns about a prospective shidduch #920427NJ_MomMemberMy husband was injured at 18 and was told by his doctors that his fertility was now questionable. When he started dating, he went to his rav to ask his advice since he wasn’t sure if he was supposed to reveal such information or not. The rav, a big posek, told him not to say anything. And b”h, a few years later, we became parents to a few wonderful children. All I can say is BH everything worked out well for us.
NJ_MomMemberMy son is in one of the Touro for Men’s divisions. VERY disappointed….from the curriculum to the financial dept. Waste of time and money. He’s going to transfer out at the end of this semester iy”h.
December 31, 2012 8:45 pm at 8:45 pm in reply to: Does the Gemoro say that we should have fewer children when times are tough? #916960NJ_MomMemberUnfortunately, I don’t have a whole brood (as much as I would have liked to) because of tuition.
NJ_MomMemberAnother great thing about living here is that most simcha halls have parking lots. Sure beats NY simchas!
NJ_MomMemberI moved here because the housing prices were much cheaper than Brooklyn; and in Brooklyn you don’t get all that much. Brooklyn was totally out of the question because of its inaffordability. BH I bought my house before the prices skyrocketed. Today it’s worth double what I paid. Unfortunately, our property taxes keep rising and so does our yeshiva tuition. Hey, but at least gas is cheaper here than in NY!
NJ_MomMemberI live there, too. When I moved in like 15 years ago, there was a very mixed crowd. Today it is definitely more yeshivish. There are many BTs and singles but there are plenty of professionals and working people. The location is pretty convenient – we’re not far from NYC, Monsey, Teaneck and only about an hour + 10 minutes to Lakewood.
NJ_MomMemberMy good friend is unfortunately in a situation where her husband is abusive and refuses to seek help, be it rabbinical advice or professional therapy. She has no choice but is in the process of filing divorce papers.
NJ_MomMemberI go to a hotel for Pesach. We had a fantastic activities director. There were games for kids only, parents only and kids and parents together. I’m sorry, my memory isn’t so good to remember what games we played but we all had fun.
NJ_MomMemberI once dated a guy with a nice car. Yes, the car was his, not from his parents. But I noticed on each of our dates that he had new license plates. I investigated further and found he had a criminal past! I couldn’t have dumped him faster! I can only thank G-d that he opened my eyes to realize that.
NJ_MomMemberThanks for the advice but I have so much going on at home, work and my personal life that I just can’t remember everything. But now that I remember, I’ll check in more often.
NJ_MomMemberNJ_MomMemberHello! I’m new!
NJ_MomMemberHello…This is my first time posting! I couldn’t resist this topic and had to put in my two cents. I use the sharp edges of the top of the tuna can to break up the chunks. Then I add mayo and mash with a fork.
