With my first I gained 30 lbs. that I never lost just because no one gave me advice as to how to do it. Now it is 20 yrs. later and with each pregnancy I never lost the weight and am really angry at myself. I am now pregnant and due a”h any time now and a told myself that I will get get back into shape after the baby so I could look thin whenI walk my ffirst child down the chupah which I hope will be this year.
Yes I feel it is urgent and agree with you.
Also remember after pregnancy your body is not the same as before birth and as we age your metabolism slows down so we cant eat as much and we have to watch what we eat.
nachasMemberJo Jo, I made your kugel for Shabbos and it is one of the best recipes I have ever tasted. I will be making it for Rosh Hashana. It is such a easy fast recipe to make. Thanks so much for sharing it.
nachasMemberI had the same situation. My next door neighbors wife was niftar and I went to be menachem avel with out my husband and it was fine because we knew each other for many years and our families are very close, but if am not so close to the husband but I was friends with the nifteres I would send my husband. On the flip side I was sitting shiva for my mother and a single guy who was a ben bais in my house came to be menachem avel me, he did not sit down and stayed in the back and then went to find my husband.
I would go and if you walk in and feel uncomfortable just stay a few minutes and then leave.
