September 1, 2011 7:30 am at 7:30 am in reply to: Who is your favorite member, responding to threads? #807109mustangriderMemberI usually read posts then when one catches my eye I look who posted. 🙂
If I had to pick a fave I would pick am yisrael chai, middlepath, Aries, bein hasdorim, queen bee, adorable. To name a few! I really enjoy everyone’s posts 🙂 it’s nice to read so many different views on one topic!
mustangriderMemberMay Hashem grant a yeshuah bekarov!
mustangriderMemberThe only Harry I know is an orphan wizard who attended Hogwarts….. 🙂

mustangriderMemberTry coming up with ridiculous reasons – the man who walked through the woods just saw a beautul bird and wanted to take a closer look but it flew away by the time he got to it. The man who wouldn’t ride the elevator just remembered something he forgot in his office.
If ever someone does something that seams wrong (not sure if that is the right word to use but it was the best I could think of) I would use this technique and I must say I find it helpful. You’d be surprised by how many times the most far fetched excuses turn out to be closer to the truth than you realized.
And remember Elanor Rosevelt’s words ” No one can make you feel inferior without your concent.” You ARE a princess – never forget it!
I hope this helps!
mustangriderMemberGavra – lol! Exept there is just one problem: dear old Uncle Sam is trillions of dollars in debt 🙁
mustangriderMemberI find that by keeping quiet in a large group I learn alot….
mustangriderMemberBee, it may not be the guy who is demanding but the guy’s parents.
mustangriderMemberI have a different question on this topic – why and how can America help ALL the other countries, spending trillions of dollars, when we are trillions of dollars in debt.
mustangriderMemberShticky guy those r really good!
mustangriderMemberWell, when celebrities have political opinions all of their fans who (consider them as gods) will automatically follow… That, in addition to yungerman1’s post, is the reason why, yes, Hollywood does have the power to “destroy” the country.
mustangriderMemberI didn’t read all the posts so I apologize if I’m repeating anyone’s.
I don’t think that ALL full time learners are looking for rich girls – think about it – a rich girl will be used to luxuries and it will be much harder for her to give them up when her rich father can no longer support her and her family. It may even cause shalom bayit problems down the road when she MUST have a new diamond necklace for every birthday, anniversary and holiday and he simply can’t afford it. (and a diamond necklace is only one luxury, think about her wardrobe, car etc)
mustangriderMemberI would be afraid of no tzaar gidul banim – wouldn’t that imply that one wouldn’t have children? (- yes I know that’s not really the point of this thread but I had to get that out….)
mustangriderMemberR we still doing b names? Cuz if we r then here’s another one – Benny
mustangriderMemberRaphael, wouldn’t being asked for help qualify one as “metzuveh”?
mustangriderMemberBein – ur fist post had me rolling! Thanx!!!
mustangriderMemberwhile that must have been annoying for you – he probably just forgot… dont over think it….
August 30, 2011 4:37 am at 4:37 am in reply to: Going out with someone who has a serious past… #803442mustangriderMemberbemakom sheba’aleh tshuva omdim ein tzadikim gedolim yecholim la’amod! (i hope i quoted that correctly 🙂
G-d erases our sins when we do teshuva – if its good enough for Hashem shouldn’t it be good enough for us?
August 26, 2011 7:56 pm at 7:56 pm in reply to: To those brothers and sisters on the East Coast… #803476mustangriderMemberAmen! Thank you!
August 26, 2011 4:25 am at 4:25 am in reply to: have to shake hands with men who are strangers :( #802140mustangriderMembertry responding in an enthusiastic “hello” so that the person will know that you are pleased to meet them and wont get insulted. and you can definitely explain that you do not make physical contact with the opposite gender – goyim can understand that as some very religeous ones refrain from doing so as well.
mustangriderMemberootiny you’re making me hungry! I loooove the hanuka sufganyot! Nothing beats the good old jelly donuts with powdered sugar! Yum! Especially when they’re home made!
August 25, 2011 6:34 pm at 6:34 pm in reply to: Life as the son of a Child Molester: My story #819681mustangriderMembermiddle, after reading your story the only thing i can say is:
Have you ever considered working with kids at risk? if anyone had a reason or excuse to turn to drugs etc. it is someone who had a childhood like yours. but YOU didn’t! you rose above and faced your challenges head on! i think there are many kids out there you can help because you went through either the same challenges or similar ones as they have. you can probably understand them and where they are coming from better than most, and those kids will probably listen to you more than to a rabbi or someone who they feel has no idea what its like to be them.
one more thing – be proud of who you are!
mustangriderMemberor maybe u werent dressing up but you are actually a woman? 🙂
mustangriderMemberitchesrulik – wizard?
and i’m gonna assume you mean bows as in bows and arrows. am i correct? 🙂
August 23, 2011 3:54 am at 3:54 am in reply to: Teenage Boys and older chewing gum on the street #801585mustangriderMemberlol goq!
WIY i think its about having good breath for both 🙂 i still fail to understand how gum – which is candy! any other candy banned? – equals “at risk”
mustangriderMembermaybe it was the music that made you anxious in the fist place? music has intence power and can greatly impact your emotions…
but yes music can bring back memories – again its very powerful.

August 19, 2011 1:40 am at 1:40 am in reply to: Speaking out loud to Hashem, yourself, or your yetzer hara #799451mustangriderMemberi do it all the time! in fact last week i actually complimented the satan on his “good” work – oh was i mad at him!
though speaking to myself is usually kept inside my head.
and of course i talk to Hashem as though He were my best friend, i tell Him everything!

mustangriderMemberayc- thanx those sound great!
bezalel- thats so interesting, i never knew that! so when the pakage says “may contain traces of dairy” it usually just means dairy equipment?
mustangriderMemberFrumguy – I never heard that, thank you!
Israel – don’t forget the bli ayin hara! And thanx for your input! 🙂
mustangriderMemberThanx soooo much everyone!!!!
mustangriderMemberThanks bomb!
mustangriderMembertomche, i’m so glad to hear that SOMEONE chears when they hear about color war! but i’m not sure ur being fair – boys dont cry – ever! and i never heard of politics amongst boys. you guys are lucky! though i should add that for me color war was usually funny – i just sat back and watched the soaps unfold instead of joining in myself. lol!
mustangriderMemberbtw, mazel tov on your engagement! i assume its something recent?
mustangriderMemberHappy face – correct!
i meant a true situation where a friend of mine broke up and she still likes him. so in that situation i said no (yes i was redt to my friend’s ex). though i should add that there were other reasons that made me say no.
however, i believe that IrFlatbush’s situation sounds a little differen’t. from what he said i think the girl would probably consider it. but he should take it slow – like i said before – follow bein_hasdorim’s advice.
mustangriderMemberI’m sorry i cant help – i never heard of this…
mustangriderMemberhaifagirl – i dont think anyone can exlain it. its a mystery to us too – at least to me. no one i know actually enjoyed color war. but apparently its supposed to be a way for kids to use their talents and promote achdus. but it usually ends in major politics… and tears…
mustangriderMemberoy vey – im not even going to try to pronounce that! lol!
