Kinda lost on whats happening, havent really read any of the recent posts, but my opinion in general is always better__ than ___. SO even if it turns out nothing was happening, better you called the police, because what if something WAS ahppening and because you didnt do anything about it someone CV got hurt? and dont be worried of what other people think. better a live enemy than a dead friend.

People go crazy because they arent careful with the money. if I win I wouldnt tell anyone except my immediate family members and possible some close friends. i’d put most of it in savings and only be able to use a certain amount each year. and i’d give a lot of anonymous tzedaka.

joseph- i babysit a nine year old boy and theres no yichud because there is always a chance someone can walk in, their cousins or other relatives randomly sto by. also its only an issue while theyre sleeping when theyre up the two boys are shomrim fro each other.

    in reply to: Babysitters #1338057

no, girls over 3 and boys over 13 are yichud. boys over 9 and girls over 12 are yichud. see the difference?
btw, if there are two other sleeping kids over the age of 5, or one awake, it takes away the yichud.

I babysit, so answering from that perspective.
    1. I get jobs either when families I babysit for recommend me to their friends, or from babysittign whatsapps that I’m on where moms post when they need a babysitter.
    2. $10-$15/hour (at least where I am)
    3. Sure, as long as you dont have girls three or older because then there will be yichud issues
    4. BH dont have any
    5. It depends on who it is, when you are hiring them ask what time they can still until.
    6. It doesnt. I know 14 year olds who are way more responsible babysitters than 20 year olds.
    7. Make sure you can contact them and they can contact you,
BEFORE THEY COME YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW THEY WILL BE GETTING THERE AND GOING HOME. if they cant go home alone, either bring them or hire an uber.

(unrelated to k9) the actual youtube filter isnt that good. even the ‘youtube kids’ app doesnt always have videos appropriate for kids… completely innapropriate stuff, not only bad for jewihs people, have been found there. so yeah
(k9) its pretty good but it blocks every ‘unrated site’ so all blogs and things like that will be blocked (not major ones, but family ones or the like)

lightbrite- i dont think that would be possible, as its not a mental thing… (i mean yeah its in the brain but its an actual physical thing someone cant not be blind anymore because of something like what you wrote)
the way it was discovered was someone has a brain surgery and afterwards he couldnt picture stuff anymore, so there was a big article about it, than other people started saying they also have it. but that was a surgery that affected it, so kinda different,
