I was never supervised by parents after kindergarten. I just went out and played. As long as I came back before dinner there were no problems. This was the 1960s and 1970s.
US parents today are damaging their kids by making all their decisions for them. By the time they make it to college they are still immature and irresponsible. Israel is the place to raise kids today.

Nixon proved that price controls didn’t work. But price controls aren’t socialism. Socialism would be for the government to buy the oil refineries the oil companies refuse to reopen and build it’s own infant formula factories.
A tax increase would be the best way to kill inflation but not a tax increase on the poor but on the well off. They continue to spend and spend and spend and spend and don’t care how much things cost. Repealing Trump’s tax scam would also reduce budget deficits. Ending protective tariffs would also reduce inflation but many of the same people who complain about inflation also want everything produced in the United States notwithstanding the fact that that increases costs for consumers and businesses. And the idea of lowering wages is another example of bad government regulation.
In addition to Sen. Lieberman, former Congressman Peter Deutsch is orthodox. After serving in Congress he moved to Israel.

We now have another voice: John Mearsheimer, known mostly for his shameless attacks on Israel and for conspiracy theories about the Israel Lobby having excessive influence, now blames the West for not adequately appeasing Putin.

People claimed that the Genocide of Jews by the Nazis was just Jewish propaganda. (The same accusation had been made about the Armenian Genocide that had inspired Hitler yemach shmo.)
And that there wasn’t any real hard evidence.
And that the media was making it up.
And that Hitler was justified because Germany had been badly treated in the peace conference after WW1.
And that we should support Hitler because he went to war with Stalin.

Goebbels was very successful at his propaganda and we now see that Putin is today.
