as you get older the skirt should be longer . the reason for this is that the legs lose their tone unless you do exercise.

who wants to see someone with saggy , baggy legs?

i agree with health’s original post. the silence from our president was not ”golden”.

even though it was not something which happened in the usa our leader should have spoken out against it and made sure to bea heard that the usa offers condolences to the families who are suffering from this tragedy

i’ve tried more diets than i can count including atkins. any diet that does not include well balanced meals and exercise are not diets you can stick to indefinetly.

eating as much steak or butter as i want to is not a way to live.

i am now on a diet once again and am doing it my way.

i am not eating bread or pasta or rice or potatoes. i am eating lots of green veggies as well as carrots and tomatoes. i am eating either fish or poultry or cottage cheese and yogurt. i eat the broccoli and veggie pancakes/souffles from the freezer sections that have proper hashgacha and decent calorie count.

i have 3 servings of fruit (melons, citrus fruits) daily and make sure to exercise as well. for a snack i have sugar free ices, jello or ice cream. this isnt easy eitehr but at least i am not dependent on shakes or specialized diet foods from doctors offices.its been about a month now and i think im doing pretty well. best part is i am not drooling if i see a grain of rice or elbow macaroni. if i choose to have a pc of challah friday night and/or shabbos it does not ruin the diet either.

I eat pizza backwards and the reason is because I like the crust less than the rest of the pizza. In this way, I get to eat the part I like better toward the end.

Of course, I could cut off the crust and not eat it at all but then I would be ba’al tashchis

playing with your children is not work.

make sure that fathers do not consider watching their own kids (if the mom is out of the house) to be babysitting.

it is not. it is his own child.

wake up folks….mother and father they can watch the kids equally

mortgage your homes to redo yourself entirely….mishugas.

get a flattering haircut. highlight the color if it needs some life to it. go to a classy dept store and have your face made up by a licensed cosmetologist and if you buy some of the products ask her to write down what to put where and how. dress in colors that are flattering to your complexion and size and always make sure your clothes and shoes are clean and pressed and shined.

this will go a long way without breaking the bank.

PBA was that a ”purim shpiel”

I happen to have O+ blood and have on occassion been called to donate for specific recipients. When called , i went gladly and if I was not anemic I did donate.

I would gladly do that today but unfortunately I take meds that no longer allow me to donate.

I would ratehr be off the meds and share my O+ with those in need.

    Thank you

i think potly is a nast yword that shuold be done away with. did you notice that there is no such thing as ”portly” in womens wear?

i also dont like the idea of ”plus ” sizes for women.

these titles should not be used.

imho naming a womans clothing store ”dress barn” is ridiculous as well.

does that make the people who shop there cows and sheep?

    think about it.

while i am on the subject….anyone here eat ”skinny cow” products? they are mostly diet ice cream and recently came out with some snacks.

why would i want to buy something named skinny cow—cow still makes me feel fat.

    thoughts anyone??

this article is indeed very sayd. however, it does work both ways. a young man should work on his appearance as well. his shoes should be shined, his clothes clean and pressed. if he is clean shaven then he should show up freshly shaved. if he has a beard it should be well trimmed and/or clean and combed. his hair should be washed and combed as well.

he should not come looking like he fell out of bed and found his clothes in the hamper.

nose jobs ,teeth straightening and contact lenses or stylish glasses should apply to both male and female as should the entire equation.

cs, the fact taht your husband picked up and left on purim when he saw his friends wife would not come out is a good sign. it shows that he values you over the friend. if you go there again ask your husband in a nice loving way to please be aware of the behavior and /or lack of friendliness toward you.

i get the feeling he will come around though it might take some time. if he is in business with the guy they can always do a business lunch or dinner on their own and not hae to do home visits. good luck.

dont yell, threaten or throw a tantrum..its gonna get better.

your hubby will see the light.

    🙂

hubby is lactose intolerant and he uses lactaid milk, lactaid yogurt or soy yogurt. there is tofutti frozen pizza. loads of tofutti and pareve ice creams. smart beat cheeses. tofutti cream cheese and sour cream. you need to be watchful of not eating ou ”d” products as well.

that can be in your cereals and noshes.

my mother in law takes the pills and will eat a regular slice of pizza.

the ”ultimate” , depending on which hotel you go to and what your budget is can be a small or LARGE fortune in cost.

In my case , aside from the cost, I fear over eating.

as a person who has suffered from allergies for 40 + years as well as someone with multiple family members having allergies i can tell you that this winter there is a high incidence of allergy suffering. moreso than there usually is for the winter.

i would also like to weigh in on the nettie pot idea from ”health”. a couple of years ago a dr told me to use it but i didn’t. however my son used one and found a little bit of relief from it. Yet lately there has been some bad PR linked to the nettie pots. There have been a few deaths which they way were due to either not using idstilled water or not having a clean enough nettie pot. I don’ tknow all the details but i’m sure you can google it

you can then check your serial number and if you qualify they will send you a mailing envelope. if they find it needs replacing when they have it in hand, they will send a replacement. perhaps there is a phone number to call

i have a question. i thought that medically it is not a good thing to have a very similar gene pool for husband and wife.

yet when i hear about some of the weddings in the Jewish community i read of so and so ‘s grandson marrying so and so who is the grand niece of that very same rabbi.

why would that be permitted from a medical point of view?
