i think early shabbos should allow for early havadalah.
also, why is it that shabbos is starting so late now . it should be the latest during the 8 summer weeks so that people have more time to get upstate on fridays

try a gemach. there are some with stunning gowns and you rent them for a nominal fee. afterward you dont have to stuff it in your closet

when i wash tzitzis i put them into a small netted bag that is for delicate washables. they come out perfect. you can get these bags in a dollar store

by the way…years ago when I went to Bais Yaakov I didn’t wear a uniform. The only girls wearing uniforms were the ones in Catholic school.
Now we look similar to them in that fashion. Didn’t know we are trying to emulate them

Don’t know if you are married or not but you can try saying that to your wife if you are indeed wed. Make sure to post it on you tube so that we can all watch the pie as it flies across the room toward you. hehehehe
some people are a little full of themselves and should not consider themselves so high and mighty.i am referring to poster(s)not folks from teh organization.
there are many personalities in all organizations and again i will say the majority dont do it for the thanks. they do it coz they genuinely want to help others. the few conrolling or pompous folks should not make people have a bad taste for teh entire organization.
unfortunately, like every organization there are some rotten apples that spoil it for others.
if you really want to volunteer and you meet all of their criteria, you should approach the coordiantor in your neighborhood and speak with him.
as ”poster” stated, no one should be talking badly about them coz as i said , the majority are G-ds angels who come to help others in need. the small group that you may have issue with should not besmirch the organization as a whole.

years ago some schools had bingo as a weekly fund raising activity. parents that could not pay full tuition gladly helped at the weekly bingo night. perhaps schools should go back to doing that.
perhaps the gas station was wrong and giving u less than a full gallon for each gallon registered.
