January 10, 2011 12:25 am at 12:25 am in reply to: Eating Disorders Developing In Seminary? #1007340mewhoParticipantyou dont have to talk to girls that were in israel to hear this. i heard it 10 yrs ago right here in nyc.
girls in yeshiva would have contests to see who could go longest without food. they would only have water and diet soda
mewhoParticipantbow ties anyone?
mewhoParticipantdivorced guy, i like your math. very clever and i agree with it too.
mewhoParticipantnothing wrong with a 10 yr age difference. main thing is they should understand, love and respect each otehr.
mewhoParticipantthis years hot color is purple
mewhoParticipantit works both ways.
i hear of many girls wanting the guy to be good looking, learner , but should have money.
doesnt want him to work in the secular world but wants him to have money.
wants him to have a nice car but dont buy a new car its a waste of money. i think i read something similar to that in the jp this weekend.
mewhoParticipantand the next date will be the transit museum
mewhoParticipantfyi, even the furnishings essex on coney had were bought from shmulks.
mewhoParticipantonce a week. thursday night i have pizza delivered so the crew can eat while i cook for shabbos
mewhoParticipanttheres a helpful book called ”Aneni” and it has many of these kinds of prayers in it.
I love it.
mewhoParticipantguys are the smokers
girls are the eating disorder issues.
here’s a new idea. how about taking the persons midos into consideration as one of the most important factors. not does he smoke, not does he wear a hat, not does his mother use a plastic table cloth etc etc
peoples values of important things are so skewed these days
mewhoParticipantsaying thank you in general seems to be coming more and more scarce.
perhaps this is an eye opener that we should all heed and become a little more aware of giving thanks to all and of course especially Hakadosh Boruch Hu
mewhoParticipantfor the record, i married a smoker andd once i became pregnant he did not smoke in the house or in the car. a few years later he quit completly. its been over 20 yrs since he quit.
i’m happy i didn’t choose my husband based on smoking habits.
and for the record x 2, obesity leads to so many diseases taht change a persons quality of life just as you say smoking does.
neither is good but i don’t see anyone saying ”would you break off a shidduch coz the guy/gal is overweight.
hmmmmmmm
mewhoParticipantmany mazel tovs.always good to hear good things
mewhoParticipantplease ticket the dog owners that do not clean up after their doggies.
please get me to and from without a bike running me over.
mewhoParticipantyou dont have to agree with everyones post but you should respect their opinions .
agree to disagree
mewhoParticipantelectricity….duh!!!!
mewhoParticipanti heard the deleted posts were used as wallpaper
mewhoParticipanti don’t think this is too hard to deal with. cover things on your desk with a file folder and eitehr minimize your screen or get one of those privacy protectors on the screen.

mewhoParticipantwouldnt edible shaitels lead to hair balls like cats get?
mewhoParticipantyou are flying around thehosue like you have taken speed.
mewhoParticipantbest thing is something very comfortable that will not look wrinkeled when you get there.
also wear slip on comfy shoes. you will surely want to take them off during the trip . you will also need to remove tehm by security checkpoints. slip on makes it much easier.
mewhoParticipanttmb must have won the mega millions last night.
on a serious note…here’s a thought. choose a neighborhood and adopt it. build a hatzalah garage and purchase a fleet of ambulances. they can even put your name up to dedicate it to you.
that should take care of a few bux. if you still have too much, do the same in another neighborhood and keep going and going. imagine the zchus of having all of nyc’s hatzalah vehicles donated by you.
wow!!
mewhoParticipantthanks bein
🙂
mewhoParticipantten bux. 2 coffees or 2 bottles of water. if that date works then the next time you go to a restaurant. why waste a hundred bux if you may never see each other again.

on another note, does anyone remember the poem ”ten little indians”?
they stopped printing it in books coz it was not politically correct.
indians is supposed to be referred to as native americans.
mewhoParticipantWWMD=what would moshe do?
mewhoParticipanti had a great post but i guess it got censored
mewhoParticipantall those fast sports cars are beautiful but pointless if you live in nyc. you cant go fast anywhere and you will destroy it over time from the potholes
mewhoParticipantcommunication is the key!
mewhoParticipantthe guy has to pay AFTER the wedding. until they are married why should he spend money on who knows how many dates till he finds his beshert?
and also if the guy is a learner all they are doing is taking the money from his parents.
split it 50/50 i say!!!
mewhoParticipantbuy it ready made. less work for the wife and then she will look prettier and not smell of fish.
mewhoParticipantthere are some lovely colors out there.
and a good manicure always looks nice.
