MenoParticipant
Were you referring to this question?
Yes
If so, what made you ask that question to me???
Things that you posted earlier in the thread, but particularly this:
I’m in the medical field. Who are you to determine what’s considered ethical or not?!?
MenoParticipantWhere did I write that I want to harm anyone?
Start as soon as possible!
The sooner you start, the better it is for me!
MenoParticipantNow which question are you referring to?!?
I asked you one question in this thread. The thread isn’t so long, so you should be able to find it yourself.
If you don’t want to answer it, just say so. Don’t act as if I’m the one being ambiguous.
MenoParticipantDid you take “medical ethics”? I think Not!
That is true, but I did learn how to respond to questions. Apparently they don’t teach that in “medical ethics”.
MenoParticipantThey should have made an announcement, or at least put a note on the plate.
I might have eaten it.
MenoParticipantToo cute to consume
That’s not why I didn’t eat them.
I didn’t eat them because they looked like little tomatoes, and tomatoes aren’t dessert
MenoParticipantI did look at them. I actually thought they were very cute.
MenoParticipantSo also make the font size as small as possible.
Or change your margin sizes a tiny bit so you don’t end up with that last line on a new page
MenoParticipantChange the font color of #34 to white
MenoParticipantWhere do you see that we give the same answer? And how could Joseph be right and I be wrong?
I thought Joseph and LU are the same person
MenoParticipantI went to college so I’ll respond (though I’m not sure what this has to do with college).
Health,
Do you think it’s consistent with the Code of Medical Ethics for a professional in the medical field to suggest that a person should do something that is detrimental to his own health in order that the medical professional should benefit?
A simple “yes” or “no” should suffice
MenoParticipantSo I punched him through the window
I’m not clear.
Did you punch him so hard that he was launched through a window?
Or did you punch through a window and subsequently hit him?
Because there’s a big difference.
MenoParticipantI just remembered that I once went to a simcha and on the plate with the dessert there was this little thing that looked like a tomato wrapped in leaves.
Obviously I did not eat it.
MenoParticipantGoFundMe?

March 3, 2017 12:41 am at 12:41 am in reply to: Exorbitant number of auto leasing companies #1220394MenoParticipantSure there is. If you plan on buying a new car and then selling it after a few years, you would often be better off leasing. When you lease a car, the total you end up paying is basically the depreciation of the car over the term of the lease. If you buy a car and sell it, there’s no guarantee that you’ll sell it for what it’s worth, so you end up losing. And this is even more true if you can’t afford the car and have to finance it anyway.
MenoParticipant“Are you a doctor or a funeral director?”
If he’s a doctor that sounds extremely unethical.
I’m not sure there’s any formal code of ethics for funeral directors
MenoParticipantI got my car from a leasing company. It was incredibly easy. I made a few phone calls on Thursday, and the car was in from of my house on Friday afternoon. I can’t imagine getting it straight from the dealer being any easier than that.
And this way a Jew makes some money. Win-win
MenoParticipant“They can’t really all be making enough money to stay in business, can they?”
Apparently they are.
“And, of course, they all charge the same price”
I recently leased a car. I called a number of places, all gave me basically the same price (within a few dollars).
I made my decision based on the one that was able to get me the car soonest
MenoParticipantI agree with Joseph
(Is that against the rules of the CR?)
MenoParticipantAre there cigarettes without nicotine?
MenoParticipantMoshe1994,
I had a Rebbe who’s father gave him a cigar when he was little in the hopes that he would hate it and never smoke again. He actually ended up enjoying it, though I don’t think he ended up smoking regularly.
March 2, 2017 3:35 pm at 3:35 pm in reply to: marrying a good boy who might not be good enough for you #1220722MenoParticipantDoes this guy smoke? Did he ever smoke?
MenoParticipantI’m the one waving the big foam hand, screaming “HI RANDOMEX!!”
Do you see me?
MenoParticipantAre you sure it was coffee?
MenoParticipantYou’d think for a serious warning like that they would get an English speaking person to proofread after translating from Chinese.
MenoParticipantAnd they grow in a husk
So it’s like corn?
MenoParticipantHow is that confusing? Sounds pretty straight forward to me
March 1, 2017 2:12 pm at 2:12 pm in reply to: Need shadchan for perfect shidduch candidates #1220544MenoParticipantbeing humbled by his presence all day long
Joseph would call that a perfect marriage
February 28, 2017 7:32 pm at 7:32 pm in reply to: Coming to shul without a jacket for davening Shachris #1219714MenoParticipantGoogle – “The Tefillin Jacket”
I once tried pulling my shirt sleeve over my tefillin like that and I ripped my shirt. But I guess you can still leave your shirt sleeve up
MenoParticipantWell if they’re anything like the tomatoes that I’ve seen, I can’t think of any reason why people don’t plant them.
Wait, so why don’t you just plant tomatoes?
MenoParticipantWell I’ve never heard of a cape gooseberry, but if they’re anything like the geese I see at the park, as the name suggests, I can think of a few reasons people don’t plant them.
MenoParticipantWell I’ve never heard of a tomatillo, but if they’re anything like armadillos, as the name suggests, I can think of a few reasons people don’t plant them.
MenoParticipantputting scotch tape on my lips before Shabbos
That sounds like a great idea, what’s wrong with that?
You could probably even sell it as shabbos lip tape and make some money.
MenoParticipantIs American Girl the one where you can send them a picture of the kid and they make a custom doll that looks like the kid?
Because I once saw a little boy in shul with a doll that was made to look exactly like him. It had a yarmulke and payos. It was weird.
February 28, 2017 3:13 pm at 3:13 pm in reply to: Coming to shul without a jacket for davening Shachris #1219707MenoParticipantI once saw a guy who had a special jacket for davening with the sleeves removed. This guy had really big arms.
MenoParticipant-20 degrees C vs 0 degrees C
Sublimation temperature of carbon dioxide is -78.5 Degrees Celsius
I doubt you will find any outside a controlled lab or clinical environment.
I believe some supermarkets sell it
MenoParticipantIs “working like a Hebrew slave” a bad thing? If so I would be very offended.
If it’s a good thing I would be a little less offended.
February 28, 2017 2:40 am at 2:40 am in reply to: marrying a good boy who might not be good enough for you #1220711MenoParticipantother girls tell me it is okay to be around him
Maybe you should start thinking for yourself instead of asking everyone else how to think
MenoParticipantSo apparently you can make dry ice yourself if you have a Carbon Dioxide fire extinguisher.
Look it up
February 28, 2017 12:18 am at 12:18 am in reply to: Need shadchan for perfect shidduch candidates #1220526MenoParticipantMaybe, but then I just remembered this:
http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/inrovert-extrovert-dating#post-620684
MenoParticipantWell then there’s your answer. You are eating pickles wrong.
You have to eat pickles as if you are less than 7 years old. Then they will bring you happiness.
MenoParticipantWhy would there be less of a reason to buy dry ice in Yerushalayim than in any other location?
February 27, 2017 3:35 pm at 3:35 pm in reply to: Need shadchan for perfect shidduch candidates #1220520MenoParticipantMaybe the perfect girl is not the best idea for him
http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/inrovert-extrovert-dating#post-620396
MenoParticipantwhy don’t you go straight for the whiskeys 40-45% alcohol and after 3-5 shots you have reached ur goal?
What’s the benefit of that?
MenoParticipant“The other day I was with a guy I know…”
Was this guy more than 7 years old?
Because that might be your answer
February 27, 2017 1:46 pm at 1:46 pm in reply to: Need shadchan for perfect shidduch candidates #1220516MenoParticipantJoseph,
I thought you were already married
MenoParticipantMaybe you’ll find your answer in this thread:
http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/halacha-thread
MenoParticipantI liked baloney when I was a kid. Not so much anymore
