    According to Wikipedia:

“Climate models suggest that the ignition of 100 firestorms, each comparable in intensity to that observed in Hiroshima in 1945, could produce a “small” nuclear winter…the cumulative products of 100 of these firestorms could cool the global climate by approximately 1 °C (1.8 °F), largely eliminating the magnitude of anthropogenic global warming for two to three years.”

So yeah, I’d say probably not.

If you dropped four nuclear missiles on the planet Earth, would that not cause global climate change?

    Probably not

Sorry, I was gonna give more details but I wasn’t sure which details people would consider to be relevant, and also I just didn’t feel like writing it all out.

The arrangement is that we bring our kids to the other person’s house and the babysitter watches all the kids there. We each pay based on the number of hours that our kids are there, but it’s pretty much a fixed amount per week.

I should point out that although the babysitter generally watches the kids at the other people’s house, there’s no reason she can’t watch our kids at at our house on any particular day.

The word nuclear means “relating to a nucleus”.

Thus, both “nuclear family” and “nuclear weapon” are appropriate uses of the word.

    “Nuclear hurricane” is not.

Waze tells you about real time traffic and dangers in the road (Like Potholes and shredded tires). a Garman GPS doesnt do that.

I started using Waze for this reason as I thought it would be helpful. Over about a month of use I could not find one instance in which the warnings were actually helpful. I just found it to be irritating and cluttered.

The worst is when people report potholes on the BQE. I could be sitting in California and tell you that there are potholes on the BQE.

    Exactly!

Since the music is so loud, the guys end up yelling so that the girls can hear them, but the girls think the guys are just obnoxious, and they assume all guys are like that, and they decide to never get married.

They make standalone GPS navigation units. They were actually quite common a few years ago, and they still sell them. They are also useful in places where you have no phone service.

    Lowerourtuition,

This is completely different. This is not a typo. The number was deliberately calculated, typed, printed, and then placed on the water, and then it sat there for long enough to generate social media backlash. That’s four places where the “mistake” should have been noticed. I can understand one mistake, but not four in a row.

According to Best Buy, it was one store and instead of putting the case price they multiplied the individual bottle price buy the number of bottles in the case.

    I don’t buy it.

No one thought twice before putting a $42 price tag on a case of water? The signs were clearly typed up on regular paper, it’s not like someone made an error with the computer system.

You wouldnt complain if they were selling cases for $5

You would if you saw someone carrying the last 12 cases out of the store as you were walking in.

The free market does not take ethics into account.

In light of what Gamanit said, it would seem that the free market is the most ethical way of doing it.
